I just woke up from a nap. Going to visit my sister K. My niece is staying with her tonight & I wanted to see her before she headed home out of state, but she is spending time with friends a lot. I don't want K (who lived with my dad) feeling lonely. She was quite weepy at the funeral.

#RecoveryPosse My father's funeral was absolutely beautiful! They stressed his many volunteer projects: visiting the imprisoned with an ecumenical group, also the sick and the elderly. Praying For Vocations (not vacations😉, but *vocations*🛐✝️) & living the beautitudes within the Catholic Church.

I popped out to Tim Hortons down the road. My neighbor was working on his car. I said "they bought me girlie clothes for the funeral. I gotta go put em on." He laughed pretty good.✌🏽☮️😉

#RecoveryPosse I'm glad to be getting back to work today. Keep busy. I have 3 paid days I can take for bereavement days but I don't feel like it. But if I feel snappy or too prickly from stress I will take them & hit extra AA meetings.

I went to dinner with my sister K We went to our favorite Mexican restaurant. She talked non-stop. She is a mover & a shaker. Used to own her own business. She & my other sister have all plans made for funeral/funeral luncheon/burial, etc...
