They made Lucy look super fun in Guilty Gear and I love how they justified the crossover. So excited to try her. One of my favorite anime oat.

Had a returning client bail out on a logo I already completed, because I told him my regular rates and got the same cartoonish reply you can imagine. This is in spite of telling him I was giving him a near 66% discount. Never start stuff unless you get something up front.

Last year was a big year of art improvement for me but I fell off super hard due to needing to focus on making money outside of my job. Recently locking down a consistent gig that I think will be safe, so 2025 might be our year to get better in a more meaningful way.

This chapter is so indicative of why One Piece is justified in taking as long as it has.

Finished Metaphor ReFantazio. Loved the story, characters, and the visuals. But I've gotta admit the game feels incredibly bloated especially towards the back half: The grind feels arbitrary and forced and the final boss was a terror, had to switch modes to get thru it. Felt stat checked often.

Its crazy to see a logo and brand that I designed in a storefront for one of the first times. Shame I haven't worked with them in a while, but glad to see them growing still.

This will come as very off-brand here so I'm funneling most of it into IG, but I'm experimenting with learning some different styles/application to make myself a little more marketable. So here's a sample of what's to come for a bit.

I am a known Steve Jobs Critic™ but I read this quote from him last week and it resonated with me. Heartbreaking: one of the most annoying guys of all time just made a great point.

The text REAL ARTISTS SHIP in some funky fonts. overlayed on each other as if they were poorly offset printed. repeated three times in cyan magenta and yellow

Four backlogged games, high priorities: Only having an hour or 2 a day makes it really hard to be a JRPG fan.

X Accounts are all deactivated. I kept waiting for skyfollower bridge to bring more people to me, but I think most of the accounts were at this point either bots, don't fuck with me, or don't see my tweets. Felt like it was just finally time to go. So I'm just starting Fresh here and on IG. :)
