I took Waffle to the beach shortly before it got dark. Nice and cool and he could have a good run around. I love my loaf.

It turns out that it's International Corgi Day today. It's also the anniversary of when we signed the paperwork to be married (we didn't have a wedding - it wasn't practical, but we still want one!). I'm going to cuddle Waffle, our Pembroke corgi.

I was working in a coffee shop with Waffle at my feet. He convinced me that the nearby woods were on our way back. Saw a dragonfly, some tadpoles, some moorhen chicks, a wren, a robin, and he chased a squirrel.

A Pembroke corgi on a lead, walking towards the camera (against the direction of his lead) on a pathway through some woodland. The woodlands are a lush green, the corgi is following some interesting scent, and his tail is up.

Can anyone identify this bird? The plumage has a rather distinctive texture.

Last night I started to toy with rebuilding the second of my Adrian Wood #Ork dreadnoughts. Is that a bad idea? #Warhammer

A grubby workbench where a metal miniature is being assembled. Said miniature is simply two catapult frames and a few other flat metal pieces in a box shape.

The metal has clearly suffered a lot, having been painted, stripped, and neglected. Its texture is rough, dark, and manky.

Waffle (my #Corgi) met a dog that reminds me of the German wire-haired pointers I grew up with. Much smaller, admittedly. Lovely little dog.

A fairly hefty baby in a red onesie. She's sleeping in some sort of pillow-edged nest on an ugly wall to wall carpet. She's rolled over so she's facing downwards (with her head to the side so she doesn't suffocate) with one leg out of the nest.
In general it looks like she just face-planted into it.

@JenJen It took a while but I got the drill out the other day and your beautiful piece now has pride of place next to our dining table!

Had a lovely time teaching some friends to play #KillTeam yesterday. We've got the more advanced stuff to learn but the basic gameplay flowed pretty naturally.

Some sort of insect on a window edge. The insect is 18mm long, 12mm of that seems to be a thin tail. It looks like a tiny dragon fly with almost scorpion-like forelimbs. It doesn't look intimidating.
