completing the raichu line set after so long MEGA NOVA Y ..hes not really enthusiatic over looking like a pikachu again #Pokemon #PokemonLegendsZA #Raichu #MegaRaichu #ライチュウ

Art of Nova as a Mega Raichu Y, whos looking awkwardly at one of his paws confused at the strangely Pikachu-shaped form he's now in. Unlike his other Raichu designs, but like his Pikachu design, Nova's armband is on his tail instead with the Raichunite Y attached. The background is styled after the Hyperspace Pokedex UI in Legends: Z-A, mostly because I was tooooo lazyyyy to make smth interesting, sorry.

while making this i realised that mega raichu Y is actually bigger than base raichu. i really dont like Y being so pikachu-shaped, but despite that i wish they went all in and actually made it SHRINK when mega evolving. not entirely pikachu sized, but still noticeably shorter than base raichu. woulda been funny.

most of my recent art has just been nova and other raichu/pikachu things because i've genuinely been hooked on the line as a whole lately. and i wanna say its because the influx of pikachu fans i get recommended a lot lately rubbing off on me "that one jolt guy" i said. im so sorry static.

just beat the main story of splatoon raiders earlier GOOOOD that ending sequence was so cool. i dont think any other campaign ending in the series comes close LOL (octo expansion is the closest imo) really fun game, would love for more spinoffs like these to come out in the future

some idea on two of the same pokemon having slightly different colours even when both are shiny kinda mixed it with the square shinies from SWSH too #Pokemon #Pikachu #ピカチュウ

Art of two Shiny Pikachu's looking at eachother curiously. The one on the left, labelled "Z-A colours", has the desaturated colour palette as seen in modern games, and has standard star-shaped shiny sparkles.
The one on the right, labelled "my interpretation of colours", is my take on the Shiny by giving it a more appealing palette without outright changing it entirely, mostly by making it more orange with maroon cheeks. It has lined square-shaped sparkles instead, based on the rarer shiny sparkle from Sword & Shield.

despite jolteon and alolan raichu being my two most favourite pokemon, the fact theres so much art of eevee and pikachu oc's makes me tend to go "damn i have to devolve static and nova more" its like self-inflicted peer pressure

beach style nova...... bc that alorai unite skin rules (surprisingly fits well as-is on him too) #Pokemon #Raichu #AlolanRaichu #ライチュウ

Artwork of Nova, sporting the Beach Style Holowear skin for Alolan Raichu from Pokemon UNITE. He's seen sitting at the end of a small pier just at the shore of a beach, holding a teal can of soda in one paw with a straw poking out thats slowly dripping some of the drink. Nova is looking up at the camera, with a calm expression while his tongue is poking out slightly (to try and catch the dripping soda).

god this took a while but MAN im proud with how this turned out. really tried reworking how i shade stuff, and while i think i can improve it more later, i do still think i cooked hard with it here. also acts as another try at drawing the new style of nova i've sketched before, i think im locking that in now, at least until i make a new ref for him.

better late than never, happy pride month!! went with smth more stylised this year with nova! #Pokemon #Raichu #AlolanRaichu #ライチュウ

Artwork of Nova using Z-SurgeSurfer, in a lineless style using only the colours of the AroAce flag. He's seen charging forward from afar on his tail, with electricity sparking out of his cheeks in a 'whisker' shape, all while having a joyful expression on his face. A trail is left behind him sporting the full AroAce flag colours, as is his cheek bolts, and Nova himself is sporting the colour scheme over his usual palette.

i got the idea for this while working on those restyle sketches earlier, by slapping on the aroace colours on him on a whim. it went hard. thus, this art. first proper try with lineless too, i did smth similar before in a single colour, but this time i tried it properly, in a sense. i think it went nicely, though i was struggling on how to make the background fit with him given the limited colours.
note: still not entirely sure how i feel on being aro, but im still plenty ace, so im content with the aroace umbrella for now. but nova however? canonically aroace WOOOOOO

another nova refresh sketch that i made like 3 and a half weeks ago, this time of his Z-surgesurfer 'design' i never posted because i was GONNA tweak the pose and eyes some more, but i never got around to it before i was too busy with irl stuff 😭 #Pokemon #Raichu #AlolanRaichu #ライチュウ

Coloured sketch of Nova, taking on the Z-SurgeSurfer state I've drawn before. He's seen bracing himself with an angry expression while standing on his tail (in a non-canon/timeskip scenario), with tufts of his fur flaring up as large bolt-shaped 'whiskers' are formed from his cheeks, and his eyes are glowing a light teal colour matching the bolts.

happy semi-late pride month btw!! i wanted to make smth in time for the 1st (and i still will draw it when i can), just been preoccupied with personal stuff lately. quote reposting my art from last year instead to fill in the gap (not my best work imo looking back, but its better than nothing)

had sort of the urge lately to refresh how i draw nova, and by extension raichu (both forms) in general. i think i could probably tweak it more especially with the legs, buuut i like how this turned out so far #Pokemon #Raichu #AlolanRaichu #ライチュウ

Coloured Sketch of Nova, next to his (at the moment) current Reference Sheet art. Shows a refreshed take on how I draw him, with the notable changes being:
- revised how his cheek tufts are shaped, trying to make them less tacked on and more like something part of his head. mostly done by shrinking the lower tuft
- made his electric sacs on his cheeks smaller (something i edited onto the ref sheet art beforehand but never posted). thought i made em way too big before
- revised how his neck tuft is shaped, to look better in general and so i dont have to keep shrinking his stomach fur (it now sort of parts into the tuft)
- heavily revised how i draw his body, mostly his legs. now he stands flat on his feet like an actual raichu, and has a shorter stature overall. the way i drew em before was more of a force of habit from always drawing quadruped pokemon.

note that any colour differences like the eyes and paw lines, plus the lack of armband, is because this is a rough sketch i quickly coloured with the fill bucket lol. i'd do it proper if i make it for a real ref sheet.

was revisiting ultimate recently out of boredom, and im starting to really enjoy playing pikachu..... as such i felt like drawing my favourite alt for him #Pokemon #SuperSmashBros #SuperSmashBrosUltimate #Pikachu #ピカチュウ

Artwork of Pikachu, in his Player 3 alternate palette from Smash Ultimate (i put in player 4 and realised too late because the green fits better than yellow whoops), featuring a green tint to his fur and Brendan's headband from Emerald. He's seen swiping his tail towards the camera in a flipping motion with an uneasy expression, meant to mimic his Up-Air from a different camera angle. The background is based on Ultimate's UI, featuring his stock icon, fighter number and player number, with an upside-down view of Battlefield in the back.

it's well into april 2nd over here, so the bits over. womp womp heres one last pic of the two mews going at it to send it off, clearly one wasnt happy being roped into it..... #Pokemon #Mew #ミュウ

Art of Static & Nova both in Mew form. Nova is angrily chasing down Static for the mishap he caused on April Fools, while Static is laughing hard while fleeing from him. Both form a circular shape with their tails as they keep up the chase.

had the idea of using static's mew design as a sort of april fools mascot given how i handle him- and i extended that to nova as well...... cant say i'll draw em much outside of it but i still had fun designing nova's mew form

ITS JOLTEON DAY‼️ WOOOOO of course i had to draw the same duo as before..... #Jolteon #サンダース #サンダースの日

Artwork of two Jolteon's, one normal and one shiny, having a normal day at their trainer's house. Shiny Jolt is trying to sleep, but is being bugged by Normal Jolt, tapping their paw onto Shiny's head with a cheeky grin on their face, all while Shiny glares back with one eye open, too tired to get up and stop them.
The room has a large Quick Ball styled rug on the floor where Shiny is trying to sleep, and a desk with a TV and a FRLG poster on the wall can be seen in the background. The TV screen shows the Jolteon Day tag and date for the occasion.

once again continuing this small jolteon duo i drew for 2023 and 2025- i like the idea of standard jolt being playful with shiny jolt to their dismay so im prob gonna continue using these two for future jolteon days

sometimes shinies spawn nearby without you knowing in Z-A, barely far enough to not make a sound, and just stay there until you spot em. what do they even do until you notice oops another urge to draw eevee hit me, heres a shiny..... #Pokemon #PokemonLegendsZA #Eevee #イーブイ

Art of a Shiny Eevee in Wild Zone 19 of Lumiose City (from Pokemon Legends Z-A specifically). He's sitting against a large bush, close by to the Entrance Holo-Gate in the distance, staring off in the sky boredly.

for context if anyone hasnt played and shiny hunted in Z-A, shinies actually stay "permanently" (up to a point) until you catch it, let it faint or scare it off if possible. This Shiny Eevee spawned when the player was nearby, and they do not know. he is stuck waiting in Wild Zone 19 until the player does something about it.

kinda speedran this top most today for my birthday a shame its so close to *another* yearly thing i do art for 😭 i will forgo the "im old" jokes for now..... even if its true

Simpler artwork of Nova and Static, celebrating.. somebody's birthday. Nova is eating a stack of pancakes (coming from the pic i did in 2024), holding the fork with a piece up a little bit as he looks upwards. The paw holding the fork has Psychic energy around it, as he's holding up a worried Static and a party hat, with Static frantically trying to reach down towards the 'birthday cake'. A blown out, slightly melted candle sits on the table near the pancake stack.

[ "I'll show you what fast is REALLY like!" ] RIDERS SUPER SONIC wanted to give the riders style a go again, with super sonic in particular this time #Sonic #SonicTheHedgehog #SonicRiders #SonicRacingCrossworlds #ソニック #ソニックライダーズ #ソニックレーシングCW

Standalone fullbody artwork of Super Sonic, in his Riders series outfit with the matching Riders 1 Artstyle. Hes calmly floating with one knee up slightly, looking at the camera with a confident smirk, one arm pumped to his waist in a fist and the other reaching out while open. The background is styled after the general Riders 1 menu aesthetic to match, with his name vertically on both sides.

the pose i went with here is loosely on the riders super sonic's render from sonic speed simulator, which came out recently. thought what that pose was going for felt pretty fitting for a riders style piece, so i ran with it. as sonic art im proud with how the face turned out this time, but as a riders style art i think i overdid the silhouetted parts a bit.
