i otherwise agree with mozilla's stance but quoting this with an immediate correction: Chrome does not use Gemini cloud models for the prompt API like said in the video, it's all local-only, just, naturally, a rushed AI-powered feature has a lot of buggy bullshit (see the replies on the post)

There are bridges for Qt that support other languages including .NET, Rust, Java and Kotlin. The .NET bridge supports Windows and Linux too. They are heavier on you using QML to define the UI though.

Well, the difference between Ukraine and Israel is that Ukraine hasn't brought the contest to disrepute. They played fair, they're not trying to astroturf votes (not even in 2022) and their support has always been natural. To compare the two at all, whatever side you're on, is apples to oranges.

most of the big talking points in FOSS are. they lack a lot of humility and just want to look right all the time... FOSS is a broad label but the ideological FOSS scene is just not healthy and i see way too many examples of toxicity on that side of the pond.
