The things we see on our walks

It made me remember that tiny negativities can have outsized impacts on our minds and bodies. This is an obvious insight, but it's worth reflecting on. Pausing to address these little challenges can pay dividends.

When I got home, my wife helped me by pulling it out with tweezers. Instantly, I felt enormous relief. It was a minor pain, but it dogged me for hours, and the relief was significant. Instantly, I felt lighter!

While walking to work yesterday, I noticed a small, pinprick pain in my right foot. It turned out a tiny sliver had gotten into the sole of my foot. That sliver haunted me all day—a subtle but affecting pain that changed how I moved through the world.
