I'm early hours into Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines 2, but it feels like a good game so far. Reviews are fair in places, while harsh in others. If you're a fan of the Vampire genre I feel you'll be happy.

What's your Mount Rushmore of your favourite vampire films - Interview with the Vampire, Bram Stoker's Dracula, Let The Right One In, and The Lost Boys. Respectable mention for Shadow of the Vampire.

Just a few shots of when I was in Matera this year. Amazing place.

Interview with the Vampire for me is the sleeper hit of the 2020s to date. Sam Reid, Jacob Anderson, Bailey Bass, Delainey Hayles, Assad Zaman, and Eric Bogosian are a simply phenomenal ensemble.

"Am I my history I have endured?" Day 7 of reposting my #IWTVart here: today, featuring #TheVampireArmand and some poetic storytelling. I drew this the night I watched *that* episode, hours and hours that poured out of me - I see you Armand 🖤

A character portrait featuring Armand from the neck up, human, still Arun - tear tracts on his cheeks as he looks up poignant at the slave traders, his monochrome colored body fading into a dark abyss around him.

My digital signature, "Isabelle Hemlock" is on the right bottom corner.

A poem like tale is woven in curved, faded, and blurred script, and reads:

Do you want to hear my story?
My second memory - An eager black hole

The one Arun was laid to rest - so Amadeo could emerge from the pit

The boy had to die So the man could live

But I'll tell you a secret -
When the man is still - You can hear the boy grieving

Interesting article in the Guardian. Your reminder that the paper's own contemporaneous review of TITANIC argued Kate Winslet was too "fleshy" for the role.
