not an au! it’s a complicated story, i’ll make a post eventually, but it takes place before any of canon lore of welcome home that we have uncovered in the website. like a prequel of some sort, with my oc :]

well i haven’t even thought of that but now that is absolutely canon in my mind Howdy probably can eat flowers and sweet things as well… but since he’s still a caterpillar, he probably can’t eat that much before it gets too much lol

Bonus: There’s no words because honestly, I don’t know how exactly to write dialogue that sounds like something Howdy would say. But I don’t want to have this drawing rotting in my drafts so I’ll post it now :D

and thought her wings would be a way for them to bond since before this they didn’t get along so naturally… but after this all feelings dissipate and isn’t fond of him at all. This is also why she hides them afterwards, not wanting to accidentally upset anyone else. 3/3

his face… he kinda explodes on her, and she runs out in tears. After this, he does feel bad, but his pride won’t let him apologize. Melody will steer clear of his shop for a couple months afterwards and keeps conversations short. Such a shame… she liked him before this, 2/3

Howdy’s at his limit after hearing everyone in the neighborhood praise Melody for getting her wings, while he, a full caterpillar and older, still doesn’t. So after Melody, albeit unintentionally, rubs it in 1/3 #WelcomeHome #welcomehomepuppetshow #welcomehomeoc #howdypillar #oc
