Tim Cook: "We exited the December quarter with very lean inventory levels. Memory had a minimal impact in the December quarter. We expect a bigger impact in the Q2 FY26 quarter. Beyond that, we expect memory pricing to keep increasing significantly."

The strategy with the new product lineup is simple: increase upgrade rates and shorten replacement cycles. The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max redesign, alongside the new iPhone 17 Air, will likely drive many users to upgrade, as the new aesthetics and thinner form factor will be distinctive factors.
