I still need to plan the book to write before the one I /actually/ wrote, but had no success querying, and can't afford anyone to [tear it apart] critique it to make it better. So I want to write a "prequel" (but not called that), then rewrite the original. I started #writing that 8 years ago🤦.

I've been stuck with multiple illnesses recently, which has hit almost every attempt to get serious about #writing and planning my next book-length story. Today, at least, I typed up a serial fiction episode for Patreon. That should feel more of a success than it does, to be honest!

I'm not sure how to describe this. Across the middle of the landscape-oriented rectangle is deep blue strip which has a shadow along the top and bottom edges. In white, capital letters in the centre of the image - and the strip - is the word "Familiarity".

Behind the title script are various, obscured so now abstract black and white hand-drawn shapes, though the background appears mountainous and there is a being of some description in front of those mountains as upper and lower arms can be seen.

It's been a rough week with my general health and pain levels. But I have managed to write ~1200 words (by hand, hence approximate) for my #serialfiction. If I could just douse the brain fog, I could write much more. It's hard to write when your brain fires in 10 different directions.

I hadn't intended on being of social media this long. My chronic pain and fatigue have been frustrating and I've ended up crashing out on the sofa, rather than out in the office. And I had forgotten I'd removed the Bluesky app from my phone. I don't even remember why. I've been #writing though.

I've finally written a few sides of A4 of new #serialfiction storyline to type up later this week. Also managed to complete a #sketch for a future episode. It's good to be moving forward with #writing again.

Latest #OC #sketch is of Farynna. This is in a chronicle I'm still planning, but have some scenes drafted already. "Linking" is how mages communicate audibly and visually. But when a mage contacts someone who has never linked before, the pain is almost unbearable. #fantasy #drawing #feline

As a #drawing exercise today, I roughly sketched a new impression of "The Chronicler" (aka Add'màr). To make it scalable and okay in digital I applied some GIMP smoothing. I will have to redraw this digitally I think, as I'm not using online tools to re-draw or generate it. #newavatar #sketch
