I was checking out the play JEFFREY by Paul Rudnick from 1994 on the Internet Archive to get a quote right. It was a scan. And this was the back page.

Mruzcek's wonky eye. Been a few months since his eye got operated on as his lens broke from its anchoring. The lens was not removed even though that's best practice, because the surgeons were worried about further infection of the eye. The lens was repositioned instead. They say the eye works fine.

Cat's lenses can suddenly start to detach. Probably related to his enlarged heart and ongoing BP issues. This picture is of Mruczek the morning it happened.
