If you want to better understand LINE WEIGHT - MONOLINE your drawing FIRST. Then, use a red line layer OVER TOP to figure out where and how thick to make sections of the lines. Clipping mask over those red lines and bucket fill them the same color as your monoline then merge. Boom. Weights.
