Another day, another uninformed opinion about the impact of broadcast on apex/appeals courts. In fact, cameras have not had any discernible negative impact on courts of appeals in the U.S. or abroad. In the few instances an attorney has tried to grandstand, they've been quickly put in their place.

Got FOIA docs last week from the U.S. Marshals Service that confirm at least 1 justice (Sotomayor when she went to Canada last year) uses the State Dept.'s Diplomatic Security Services for security when they travel abroad. We FOIAed for this 644 days ago with no response so are trying again today.

Fix the Court has long supported adding new district judgeships in batches over several Congresses, so when 300 judges nominated by presidents in both parties said last week we need the JUDGES Act, which would do that, the House should listen.
