I'm using GDScript, but I'm curious to look into C# too sometime.

Same here! I grew up with games like Spyro, Rayman 2 and Jak and Daxter. I started making this game as a love letter to my childhood. Getting such kind comments from other fans of this genre means a lot! It's called Fix'n'Craft, but I'll most likely change the title someday.

Oh yeah, it really feels like the community is growing quickly! You should definitely try it out. It's a great engine :'D

But there are some things from Unreal that I miss a lot, like the content browser. It feels much more managable than the file system in Godot :'D At the moment I feel like Godot is the right choice for me personally. But I might use Unreal again for future projects :) 4/4

I feel much better when I'm able to go out and be among friends while I work. So I kept playing around with the engine and in the end decided to switch. I like Unreal a lot. It has some incredible features, but it doesn't have anything I need for this game that Godot can't give me too. 3/4

I built a simple prototype and the performance was great. Also, the fact that Godot runs on my laptop is a huge deal for me. When I had to use my tower at home for everything, I felt super isolated all the time and that didn't do me well. 2/4

I started getting curious about Godot when I tested my Unreal builds on low-end hardware. It was unplayable, while similar games made using less heavy engines ran perfectly fine on the same system. That's when I decided to give Godot a try. 1/4

I've been busy moving my game from Unreal to Godot. It's been a LOT of work, but I'm sure that it will be worth it in the end. I prefer how it feels to work with Godot and I am getting stuff done much quicker now. Also, my laptop can run it, so I can work on the go :'D #indiedev #godot

Soo, I've been working on this passion project of mine for about 1,5 years now and figured I might wanna start sharing some progress on it every now and then online from now on. It's a 90's/early 2000's inspired 3D platformer with hand painted textures :'D #indiedev #unrealengine
