Seeing "Audio Source: American Dad" immediately made me go back and unmute

Bruh what I wish this was the official sprite. Huge rom hack potential

FIVEGUMM @fivegumm.bsky.social · 08/07/2026

Love the contrast between the realistic dude and background vs the fish lol, feels eldritch somehow. Like my mind simply cannot comprehend what the fish actually looks like

010

FIVEGUMM @fivegumm.bsky.social · 08/07/2026

I'd be so pissed if this happened to me

FIVEGUMM @fivegumm.bsky.social · 08/07/2026

The perspective is awesome, feels like a LucasArts adventure game

Thank you! Big fan of all of the animal sprite work, they’re the biggest reason why I switch off of ASCII

FIVEGUMM @fivegumm.bsky.social · 08/07/2026

I had no idea they were on here, that's awesome. Thanks for the @

House of Leaves if you haven't made the trek yet Absolutely worth the hype.

There's no better bar than a staff hewn from the cursed tree of Ogh Alandar

An art fight attack! The character was literally just a photo of a pickle so I think it's probably fine to post without permission lol #pixelart #art #artfight

One small, angry crinkle-cut pickle vs the world.

Just a quick piece to help get caught back up with pixel dailies. The Virtual Boy color palette has strained yet another pair of eyes today @pixeldailies.bsky.social #pixelart #pixeldailies #art

Pixel art of a kid on a swing in a playground using the red-toned Virtual Boy pallet.

The sun looks very impressed with their swinging skills

Still haven't watched any Gundam but I do have a soft spot for honorable-to-a-fault middle-aged dudes

010

FIVEGUMM @fivegumm.bsky.social · 06/07/2026

I'm starting my first year on art fight for some extra incentive to practice! My account is pretty barebones so there's not much to attack atm, but I'm slowly building it up. Follow me and I'll attack you though! artfight.net/~5GUMM #artfight #art

I love Cat Mike's design, but I just imagine constant feedback sounds when it walks

110

FIVEGUMM @fivegumm.bsky.social · 03/07/2026

Not saying your experience isn't real, but I've never had a game disc/cart just outright fail outside of physical damage that was there when I got it or was my own fault as a kid

000

FIVEGUMM @fivegumm.bsky.social · 03/07/2026

Mine had the same haircut. He was a tank named Quintupulous Swood

010

FIVEGUMM @fivegumm.bsky.social · 03/07/2026

Couldn't hurt! I've been thinking that fanart is a good way to get noticed in general, but my mind goes blank when thinking about what to do because I like too much stuff lol

000

FIVEGUMM @fivegumm.bsky.social · 03/07/2026

I'm the same way, only I do play the video games . . . just too much. All the while I'm thinking about how I should do the dishes or something else productive at least

000

FIVEGUMM @fivegumm.bsky.social · 03/07/2026

Hey, beats not drawing consistently enough to have a style at all These are all super cool

FIVEGUMM @fivegumm.bsky.social · 03/07/2026

Reminds of that one thug roach from Courage the Cowardly Dog

010

FIVEGUMM @fivegumm.bsky.social · 03/07/2026

Just finished it! Took me a little longer than 2 hours, but I suck at navigation even with a map, lol. Would love to talk about it some more if you're ever down to

010

FIVEGUMM @fivegumm.bsky.social · 03/07/2026

Darkness don't have all that 💀

010

FIVEGUMM @fivegumm.bsky.social · 03/07/2026

You captured him perfectly, I immediately knew who he was from the walk alone lolol

010

FIVEGUMM @fivegumm.bsky.social · 03/07/2026

The manga is still ongoing, and the current arc has some of the best chapters yet. It actually just came back from hiatus a week ago

110

FIVEGUMM @fivegumm.bsky.social · 03/07/2026

I usually avoid drawing swords since it feels a little hackneyed (pun intended) at this point and takes me back to middle school, where every margin in my notebooks was filled with them. But it was fun! #pixel_dailies #pixelart @pixeldailies.bsky.social

A collection of pixel art swords, identical save for their colors: green, orange, blue, and pink.

Feels like the logical endpoint of a staunchly individualist society.

FIVEGUMM @fivegumm.bsky.social · 03/07/2026

Sometimes feeling dead after 7pm while on a morning schedule feels worse somehow

000

FIVEGUMM @fivegumm.bsky.social · 02/07/2026

Disc rot can take 100 years to set in if you store them right

000

FIVEGUMM @fivegumm.bsky.social · 02/07/2026

Just gotta upgrade the CRT set-up! Though it being on a small random piece of furniture is its own kind of nostalgia. Wouldn't be bad at all if you were in a beanbag either

120

FIVEGUMM @fivegumm.bsky.social · 02/07/2026

True . . . the needle moves closer and closer to Dystopia every day. It sounds dramatic because we're talking about video games here, but everything else is trending in that direction, too. Just hope this is the push that finally pops the streaming bubble.

110

FIVEGUMM @fivegumm.bsky.social · 02/07/2026

I honestly think this will happen sooner rather than later. Storage and memory are getting so expensive to both consumers and manufacturers that pumping out 300GB games is going to become unrealistic pretty soon. The industry will have to work around the fact that owning hardware at all is hard now

140

FIVEGUMM @fivegumm.bsky.social · 02/07/2026

There are some creators I still genuinely enjoy (shout-out to Izzzyzzz in particular), and even they have spoken out about being tired of the constant content mill and have slowed down their release schedule.

000

FIVEGUMM @fivegumm.bsky.social · 02/07/2026

Yeahh, I feel that. I'm starting to hate most video content these days just because it's gotten to be too much. Like, I know damn well I couldn't care less about "tHe MoSt EvIl BaBySiTtEr On TiKtOk", but I've become so reliant on having some sort of background noise that I click anyway.
