perhaps i'm feeling really spicy and confrontational lately, but i got a comment on my youtube post saying i can and should co-exist with ai music let this be a basic reminder: do not measure of the work i've built up for over a decade now to the work of a prompt and algorithm - it's insulting

is there a team of rogue programmers and IT people who want to work with me and make a website that's basically just like tumblr, when the website fucking blows up? like, what bluesky is to twitter, you know?

020

Fishy 🐠(COMMS OPEN) @fishytim.bsky.social · 10/10/2025

they made reblogging difficult. you know, tumblr's whole shtick? the thing that made it so great and unique and helped millions of users grow their audience and interact with other people? the moment they add a shitty ai and algorithm, i am going to lose it 2/2

Fishy 🐠(COMMS OPEN) @fishytim.bsky.social · 10/10/2025

remember when people started fleeing twitter? tumblr changed their dashboard to look like twitter 2 years ago, still have a feature for twitter users specifically when they create an account, and now the ui on posts looks basically the same. 1/2

another reason why i'm taking a break - cookie run kingdom fandom there is overwhelming and i made a huge mistake of making a very popular AU

Fishy 🐠(COMMS OPEN) @fishytim.bsky.social · 28/09/2025

blocked tumblr on my browser so i can take a break from it (coz i keep opening it instinctively) and now i have nothing to do, coz i don't use any other social media LMAO so uhhhh hello bluesky, how's it going

2/2 So i’m here to share some basic fandom and internet etiquette i have learned over the many years i’ve been here :) I’ll really appreciate if you could share this for other people!!! And add some of your wisdom, if you want to and have something that you think is worth sharing!

Fishy 🐠(COMMS OPEN) @fishytim.bsky.social · 26/09/2025

1/2 A lot of people who are new to social media and fandom scene weren’t really taught how to properly act and in our age of cancel culture/rage baiting and the rise of the AI, people lost all sense of respect for one another...

I'm making an animatic and I want him to say a couple of lines, but i can't do his voice if my life depended on it aheuhgreuhg Basically evil maniacal jester who sounds like he's constantly on a brink of a mental breakdown

Last time this argument was used against me was when I had two panic attacks because of exams, one of which landed me in ER. Long live ignorance for it is bliss.

Really love people who say that if I can’t handle unhealthy environment, then I shouldn’t work in my field. Bitch, I’m pretty sure real theaters don’t torture people and then ignore letters from their doctors that say that they’re literally in danger. So my day started well.

Went from one smartass sarcastic queer-coded villain with a silly design and family trauma who wants to rule the world and has one specific person he drags through the dirt but still expects him to be on his side to another, how diverse of me

And of course the credit scenes. Make me scream every single time. Can’t believe people legitimately said that this film isn’t good.

Fishy 🐠(COMMS OPEN) @fishytim.bsky.social · 13/01/2025

Rewatched it once more, because I can’t get enough of some of the scenes Like come on If I have a chance to rewatch Eggman’s final live stream and every possible Stobotnik scene on big screen + Shadow and Sonic bonding and fighting together, I might as well seize it (ALSO THE MUSIC FUCKS)

This 2025 stop calling yourself a "content creator" You're an artist, graphic designer, a video editor, an entertainer, musician, a streamer, a cook, a craftsman, an animator, a storyteller, a writer, a painter, a woodworker, a tailor... You are not a faceless "content" machine.

imagine your tradition being harming the environment and triggering pets, kids, sensitive people and veterans/war survivors once a year but at least they're pretty, right?

020

Fishy 🐠(COMMS OPEN) @fishytim.bsky.social · 30/12/2024

it's pretty but also my mom and a lot of her ukrainian friends are traumatised by explosions. she kept waking up in the middle of the night crying in horror because someone was setting up fireworks near our house. same goes for pets, kids, and people sensitive to loud noises.

Fishy 🐠(COMMS OPEN) @fishytim.bsky.social · 30/12/2024

fireworks and petards are LITERALLY illegal in germany. yet people still shoot them almost everyday for shits and giggles. some kid threw a petard (almost the same) on primary school grounds and almost got me and my little brother. i hate petards and fireworks...

That canceled TV show you'll never stop thinking about? Definitely Inside Job. An absolutely amazing one that ended on a cliffhanger, because Netflix' favourite thing to do is cancel actually good shows.
