Trump wants to stay in power forever. One way to accomplish that is by creating situations that force him to cancel elections. I don't doubt that he's hoping for a deadly incident when chasing down immigrants, or that Iran retaliates in our country to force a military style lockdown.

I remember being excited at how many trump supporters denounced him after 1 year in office. I thought this would translate into a blue landslide victory in 2020, which it was, and a continuation of that in 2024. It wasn't. I don't trust these fools. They'd probably support him running for a 3rd term

It also explains their "forgiveness" of someone as flawed as Trump. They see him as a martyr who's succumbed to sins and become a better person because of them. Of course, he has not. But, they don't care to study him. Because if they did, they'd realize their entire belief system is a scam.
