Aside from the doom and gloom — I hit a PR of squatting 135lbs today. Have been working a solid 115-120 the last couple of weeks with random 125s. To note, I haven’t gone heavier than 90lbs in 7+ years. I’m immensely proud of myself. My goal is 180. I want to be able to squat my hubz eventually.

As your typical millennial, I have been brought up with all the impending doom and gloom and things just continuously get worse. But, I have always made the best of it and kept chugging along. That said, I feel like something really bad is going to happen. I have felt it for the last year-ish.

I have reached the point that it’s now weird seeing Jensen with “Dean hair” vs “Soldier Boy” hair as I’ve dubbed it. It’s been awhile since I’ve watched Supernatural, probably like a year+ but I see bloopers here and there and it’s so weird to me now 😅

I wish people would understand that your “simple cold” can kill a cancer patient, especially someone on Leukemia meds which heightens the risk for infections. Wash your goddamn hands and wear a mask if YOURE SICK. Jfc

I was thinking about the price of a lb of ground beef (80/20) which ranges $5-8/lb here. I think about when I 1st moved out on my own & bought my 1st lb on my own in 2008. It was $1.25/lb and I remember texting my mom to ask if that was a good deal. It would then go on sale often for 99 cents.

1 month on Cancer meds / diagnoses vs 4 months #leukemia 160 vs 173 Side note: his right side will always be less than the other due to the neurological damage he received in 2022 from prior to his neck surgery. (We’re lucky he still has any feeling on that side)

Editing photos as an amateur is not for the weak 😅 Especially if there are 1500 photos. It’s not as simple as “just post the photos”. I’m used to dark venues not weddings outside in the peak sunshine 😅 and I haven’t really touched my camera since 2024 so this was definitely a learning curve.

I forgot to say!! He’s having an amazing molecular response. Going from 88.5% blood infected to 3% in 2 months! He did blood work yesterday as well after our northern getaway and everything was green and in the middle meaning he’s relatively normal 🥹🥹

Our journey since being home has been overwhelming. He incidentally has contracted a cold at the same time and is experiencing almost all side effects of the Leukemia med. I wish I could offload some of this from him. 🥺 it’s so hard.

We officially have a diagnosis! 8 days later. Chronic Myeloid Leukemia Ironically, to “celebrate” moving forward — he wanted my homemade meatloaf. Bebe gets what he wants 😘 mini date night in the hospital. He’ll start his $220 leukemia meds tomorrow. Thank god he’s on my insurance = $0 copay

It’s been a long week. It’s been about 15 years since I’ve had to deal with a similar long week. You never think it could happen to you/loved ones MORE than once. But here we are. My husband (unofficially diagnosed but doctors 95% certain) has Leukemia. My husband has cancer.
