the old symbol pfp was made from a pair of mirrored FEHU (ᚠ) and KAUNA (ᚲ) runes (from FIRST and CULLED); it worked alright as a placeholder, but I think it's time to move on to something with more personality

Snap Heap plugin screenshot; uses 3 instance of kHs Pitch Shifter, one for everything below 1k, and two, -x semitones and +12-x semitones, for everything above. A Chromatic remap locks the shift amount to 1-semitone increments. As the shift gets lower, the -x shifter fades out, and the +12-x shifter fades in, shifting the highs up an octave so they stay bright.

what's the occasion? bass shifting I've been tracking all shifted bass parts an octave higher and using a wet/dry octave to keep the highs bright, and I made a Snap Heap plugin that takes that idea and works for shifts from -12 to +12
