I went to check this out and I’ve only taken a cursory glance, but these programs do seem to have a lot of AI integration, and their email is literally hello@storyteller.ai. Not exactly being super subtle here. It’s open source so it might be worth checking how vibe coded this shit is

I think this still sucks, but also this post is still misleading. They’re not forcing every user to verify their age with a legal document like they were planning before.

Every single MCU movie is this image copy and pasted over and over and people legitimately think that they’re interesting, somehow

I don’t have time to look into this exactly right now but this appears to be localized to the PNW and while what they’re doing is evil they’re not completely removing it, they’re just making it worse. www.opb.org/article/2026...
The Trump administration announced a massive reorganization of the U.S. Forest Service last week. The agency’s headquarters will move from Washington, D.C., to Salt Lake City, Utah, and its regional offices will be replaced by 15 state-based offices. Additionally, more than 50 research stations will close across 31 states, including one in Oregon and two in Washington.

I want you to look me in the eyeballs and tell me you actually think that artwork looks like “napkin art.” If you want to know what actual “early concept design for internal use” art looks like, here’s some of the guy in my pfp. You would never put actual preliminary “napkin art” on an artbook cover

I know your shirt is dandelions and birds but for some reason it reminded me of the album cover for this song I really like. It came out in 2022 but it’s got major early 2000s vibes so that probably adds to it

also my fave skin for her is probably blood moon, mostly bc of the shadow form. i love evelynn shadow forms with big fuck off horns, and the massive blue claws are absolutely inspired imo. also low how her sandals look vaguely like hooves and she gets big pointy ears

Mika @firstprogenitor.bsky.social · 07/01/2026
yea i also really like evelynn, despite me allegedly being the anti-sex-in-video-games guy. i used to play her a Lot when she first came out. i actually used to play her a lot before her rework too. (shes mastery 5 bc i stopped playing her before they invented mysteries higher than that)

every time i see her design i wanna vomit tbh. i think shes a cool design in /theory/, but shes yet another victim of the fact that riot games cannot design an inhumanly shaped woman. so instead we get thicc shrink wrap

This month's book rec
America's Deadliest Export: Democracy – The Truth About US Foreign Policy and Everything Else
William Blum
For over 65 years, the United States war machine has been on auto pilot. Since World War II, the world has believed that US foreign policy means well, and that America's motives in spreading democracy are honorable, even noble. In this startling and provocative book from William Blum, one of the United States' leading non-mainstream chroniclers of American foreign policy and author of the popular online newsletter, Anti-Empire Reports, demonstrates that nothing could be further from the truth. America's Deadliest Export is the in-depth exposé of the many contradictions surrounding the nature of US foreign policy.

another very popular motif in art dating back to at least the 16th century was depicting Mary Magdalene holding a skull, or posing with a skull. Theres a lot of them and many of them are very good, but i think this is my personal favorite that ive seen. 1920 painting by Julio Romero de Torres
A woman, titular Magdalena, has long brown wavy hair and medium toned skin. she appears to be sitting up in a tomb, with white sheets falling off of her otherwise naked body, as if she just woke up. She is gently caressing a skull. her skin is very dark around the eyes, like shes wearing heavy makeup, and her eyes look tired and mournful, like she's wearing similar makeup to a 1920s silent film actress. which i suppose is appropriate, since this was painted in the 1920s.

this painting is called "In Ictu Oculi" by Juan de Valdés Leal, dated 1672. one of my absolute favorites. the title of the piece is latin, translating to "in the blink of an eye."

death was also often depicted as ethereal and serene angels of black death, and this iconography i find especially beautiful and haunting

i obviously have a fixation on depictions of death, as well as anthropological and sociological interests in religion. i recommend doing your own poking around wrt historical art, theres some really cool stuff out there. anyway, heres a Death and the Maiden painting from 1517 by Niklaus Manuel
a quote from an article about this piece: "In Niklaus Manuel Deutsch’s “Death and the Maiden,” the earthly desire of Death, who grasps and kisses the young woman, reveals the profound dichotomy between death and desire. The woman’s acceptance of Death as a lover underscores this tension, illustrating a complex relationship where mortality and sensuality intertwine. Deutsch’s meticulous rendering of the human form and the skeletal figure showcases his exceptional skill in anatomical depiction and his ability to evoke deep emotional resonance." https://travelswithmyart.wordpress.com/2024/07/02/death-and-the-maiden-in-art-and-music-a-timeless-motif-of-mortality-and-desire/

Actually I think this Shiva art pairs with this Madoka art better
010
Mika @firstprogenitor.bsky.social · 26/05/2025
I think Gaia's e12s design was ripped straight from Homura and I think that a lot of the pink bow stuff Ryne has going on in her shiva form is a reference to Madoka. Plus all of Gaia and Homura's time manipulation shenanigans. But I'm also the "everything is devilman" guy

According to the doctrine of fandom evangelicalism, all criticism is harassment and all harassment is unwarranted. Its a belief completely indistinguishable from Tsugumi Ohba claiming normal individuals cannot be homophobic because "actual discrimination is a social system backed by the powerful"
