my phone wallpapers are technically both of my WoLs, but the vibes could not be more different (lockscreen by @sabattons.com, home screen by @nebulanix.bsky.social)

A phone lock screen with art of the OP's WoL R'hian Leighis. His right arm is flayed open and interwoven with thorns. He spits bloodied lillies from his mouth. The color palette is muted and earth toned.

A phone home screen, with art of the OP' WoL Glimlind Lamanth in a photobooth style strip with his two partners, Mukhali amd Loutre. Each box has a different pairing of the three, all cuddling and looking very happy. The color scheme is bright and poppy.

#Sylbrymm and her husband #Glazfedar ! Syl is #Glimlind 's best friend and a historian focused on 5UE/5AE. Glaz is a librarian who works at the Noumenon !

An older Roegadyn woman sits in her wheelchair, gesturing expressively.

An older Roegadyn man sits on a hanging bench, smiling indulgently at someone off camera.

Glazfedar and Sylbrymm sit side by side on a hanging bench, talking cheerfully to each other.

got the #daggers bugs drawn by @1driedpersimmon.bsky.social ! they're adorable, and have had rave reviews, including: - A U G H - GBJFDOIHGBASDFIOHGVIUASDF - GNVIOFDGHJIFD BFGDN;KLHBFG - THATS FUCKING ADORABLE - are they bugfriends - they are in bug... - THAT'S SO CUTE!! #Glimlind #Mukhali #Loutre

A sketchy drawing of three simplified FFXIV characters. Glimlind and Loutre stand on either side of their grumpy and flustered boyfriend Mukhali, smooching him on each cheek. Mukhali is holding their hands, or had perhaps had his hands grabbed in an effort to distract him from being quite so grumpy.

there are a pair of wind turbines on my college campus, and it gets very foggy here - it always puts me a bit on age when i can hear the /fwomp/ of the blades moving when i can barely see them. it would be so unsettling to hear wingbeats in the fog without knowing where such a large creature is !

ghoa and khulan of the himaa, twin sisters and the first of the #fairclough children to be adopted ! they arrived in la noscea in the care of other doman refugees. in canon they're still only 8, but they grow up to be a songstress/music teacher (ghoa) and a(n) adventurer/bodyguard (khulan) !

Two young identical twin girls stand on the Azim Steppe outside of Mol Iloh. They are Xaela with deep blue skin, red eyes, and blue hair. They are dressed similarly in Himaa colors. On the left Ghoa waves shyly at the camera. On the right Khulan shouts to someone behind the photographer.

The same twin girls, now young women in their fathers' garden. Ghoa is wearing a long tiered dress, caught mid-spin by the camera. Khulan is dressed in practical adventuring gear, doing a box dance to contrast with her sister.

A close-up shot of Ghoa, showing some of her silver jewelry and bright makeup as she winks at the camera. She is a pretty girl, clearly meticulous about her dress and deportment, but still full of fun and caring.

A close-up shot of Khulan, showing her slicked-back hair and well-maintained adventuring gear. She is a handsome girl, built more solidly than her sister thanks to vigorous training.

<•grief's anointed•> My commission of #Leighis from @sabattons.com was completed, and I couldn't be happier with it oh my God. Angel did an incredible job of taking the inspiration I provided, including my musings about Leighis and flower !!!gore!!! imagery, and making something utterly gorgeous.

R'hian Leighis, a Miqo'te man, stands bent with right arm outstretched. He spews red lily petals from his mouth, dripping down his cloak like blood. A large white rose cane winds around and through his outstretched arm. The image is rendered in shades of deep brown and red, reminiscent of wooden sculptures of saints.

making leighis references always makes me emo

A screenshot of a refsheet in progress, showing Leighis's outfits over the years. Currently represented are his time as a healer, his official robes as an emissary of the fane, his ShB all-black ensemble, his EW "Doctor Doom" outfit, and his more relaxed DT clothes.

neat visual for the differences in either side of #leighis 's face - i'm sure bsky will decimate the quality, but you can really see how the scar tissue and broken bones have pulled both sides.

<•firstblessed•> @firstblessed.bsky.social · 26/08/2025

they might not be in the same canon together, but i like the idea of them hanging out in their matching swimsuits <3 #leighis #darmeira #gposers

Leighis and Darmeira sit together on a deck chair aboard the Queen Lhaminn. Leighis is a Miqo'te man with a prominent facial scar, and Darmeira is a teenage Thavnairian Hyur girl. They are wearing matching swimsuits in the style that approximates a burkini: the suits have long sleeves + pant legs, a skirt, and a hood to cover their hair. Leighis's suit is in shades of deep blue and green, while Darmeira wears a berry red and bright orange.

A wider shot of Leighis and Darmeira on the deck chair, showing off the coverage of their swim suits. Leighis is holding a book Darmeira has handed him and is listening intently while she explains part of it.

A picture of Leighis and Darmeira in the water in front of the Queen Lhaminn's waterslide. Darmeira is splashing Leighis with water and grinning gleefully.

A different angle of Leighis and Darmeira in the water, showing Leighis's smiling face as he halfheartedly tries to shield himself from Darmeira's splashing. They are both clearly having a lot of fun, comfortable in their swim suits.

simple mash to update #glimlind s cold-weather hair: felis' long boi bangs on lyss' juliette bun (ported to m!viera by exiebebe). i used a different braid in EW, but this fits the volume of his hair far better and (as nix said) strikes a nice balance between intricacy and practicality ! it suits him

A red-haired Viera stands in Old Sharlyan. He is wearing a green cloak and his hair is pulled around his face in a braid crown that leaves his bangs free.

The same red-haired Viera, with his head tilted to show that in addition to the braided crown there is a large braided bun at the back of his head.

practicing bigger gposes again, i feel like i've always preferred close-ups and portraits so. trying !

A Miqo'te man stands nearly silhouetted against the sky in the final arena of Sohr Khai. Zenith hangs in the background, illuminated by golden light. The Miqo'te is wearing a long dark dress and is flourishing his White Mage staff.

Another view of the previous picture, with more emphasis on the Miqo'te. He now takes up the center of the picture, obscuring most of Zenith. The sky glows above his head.

Three FFXIV characters lay next to each other on a bed. From L-R: Mukhali, a Xaela, lies on his side facing his partners. Glimlind, a Veena, lays face down on the bed with one hand touching Mukhali and the other almost touching Loutre. Loutre, a Rava, lays flat on his back with a Bacon Bits minion smothering him. None of them are dressed for sleeping.

miss buttercup (babybel cheese for scale) does the same thing, so when possible she gets her food spread out over the course of a day. of course bc she is tiny (babybel cheese for scale) this equates to roughly an american quarter sized dollop of food at a time

A black cat sits curled up on some blankets. She has a wrapped Babybel cheese round on her head, which is only one and a half Babybel cheese rounds wide. The rest of the cat is similarly tiny.

The same black cat, now looking unimpressedly at the photographer.

R'hian Fairclough is a great dad - he & Sevrin have five adopted kids: #R'kelhi (1), #Ghoa & #Khulan (7), #J'vheo (13), and #Darmeria (17). R'hian retired after 6.0, and now he spends his time with his children. The #Faircloughs try hard to give their kids every possible opportunity they never had.
