Maybe it won't be perfect when it's all done. But instead of assuming bad faith, try thinking that there's a good intent here. The whole idea is to be *more* inclusive and have many more meetups than we could before, which includes representing the LGBTQ+ spectrum in a less narrow way.

Think of it more like this: instead of Furality dictating exactly which groups get represented (with related ones often getting combined due to lack of space), the community itself can now effectively choose which meetups get run without these same space/time limitations.

I think you misunderstood their post. The standard meetup schedule has limited slots, so we tried something different this year by splitting things with community-suggested meetups. Community meetups run the whole convention instead of just one hour! Submit what you want: apply.furality.org
