Sympathetic morning sickness with Hailee. 😁

So, in other words, Republicans that live in states that "voted blue" are being screwed by Trump.

3:05 3:06 3:00 3:21 (11 innings) Very manageable, even with the added commercial time between innings for postseason. 2:55 compared to 2:05 for the regular season.

It's the playoffs, you play your best 9. Screw these match ups based on incredibly small sample sizes.

firk77q.bsky.social @firk77q.bsky.social · 30/09/2025

First ever playoff game for this ump. Still, no excuse for missing this easy call.

000

firk77q.bsky.social @firk77q.bsky.social · 18/09/2025

He should work more on his umpiring ability. Jim Wolf is currently ranked 77th out of 90 MLB umpires. His performance this season was notably poor, with a correct call rate of 85.6%, which is the 10th-worst performance for an umpire.

They won't do it again ! On another note, these late Sunday start times are ridiculous. Game was advertised for an 8:15 kickoff and didn't start until 8:26. ALL Sunday night games should kick off at 7:20.

000

firk77q.bsky.social @firk77q.bsky.social · 23/06/2025

Even thru the TV it's way too loud, I find myself hitting the mute button between pitches. 😡

000

firk77q.bsky.social @firk77q.bsky.social · 14/06/2025

In basketball you get 2 technicals before you're ejected. In football you get 2 unsportsmanlike penalties before you're ejected. In soccer you get 2 yellow cards before you're ejected. Why is there ZERO tolerance in baseball and the slightest emotion gets star players ejected ?

000

firk77q.bsky.social @firk77q.bsky.social · 09/06/2025

And the TV announcers weren't drowned out by the constant blaring stadium noise between every pitch. 😡😡

firk77q.bsky.social @firk77q.bsky.social · 26/03/2025

The "No Shutouts" is a tough one to hit. I had a winner on the 3+ hits every game last year and just missed the 4+ hits per game (Yanks went 156 out of 162 games with 4+ hits). 😊

What would be your Top 3 picks from this list to bet on ? $100 each. I took 1, 4 & 5. ⚾

A voter thought two others were better than Josh when he voted him third ?!? Also, a voter thought three others were better than Lamar when he voted him fourth ?!? Wow.

Agree. Last week's episode wasn't one of the writer's best. And where was Sass ?? 😥

Almost lost interest during this 6 week gap between episodes. Dec 19 was the last one. IMDB says only 4 episodes left in Season 4 - could that be right. We've seen 9 episodes up to now. Only 13 for the whole season ? I understand pre-empting over the holidays but don't understand a 6 week gap.

Best $5.00 I ever spent. Amazing how much ear wax builds up in the pods & the case. Cleaning all that gunk out is somewhat cathartic. 😊

firk77q.bsky.social @firk77q.bsky.social · 21/01/2025

Should add a dedicated base running coach, an area we were woefully lacking in last season.

Bet Harbaugh is rethinking his decision to go for 2 both times. 27-27 if they had just kicked both of those XP's. Thank you Jim.

HOF vote should be 100% PUBLIC ! What is this "private voters" crap ? Why are they allowed to hide behind a curtain ? There is ZERO reason for that in the HOF voting. 😡

Probably gonna be: Denver at Buffalo Then Baltimore at Buffalo Then Buffalo at KC Then Buffalo to Super Bowl LIX 🏈

Thank you for this - nice. As a Buffalo Bills fan I guess we're looking at this most likely scenario: Den or Mia at Buffalo, then Bal at Buffalo, the Buffalo at KC

I'm sure we'll lock up the 2 seed Sunday, but, worst case scenario, what if the bills and the ravens both finish 12 and 5. Who holds the tiebreaker?

Love Cruz - power pitcher with 109 K's in 66 IP career. Late bloomer who is 35 and has only been in MLB for 3 years, the rest of his career in Mexico & Winter ball. Potential ++. Alex Jackson must have been just a throw-in. Very little power, .132 career avg & K Rate of 47%. AAA or AA to start.

Seem to land funny on his right wrist on that last run he made. He was shaking it a little but went right back to the huddle. Hopefully nothing.

Try bacon in the air fryer - grease collects in the bottom then just pour it off - 13 minutes at 380°. No spatter and perfect every time. 😋

Def wintry weather - at age 68 and not real excited to drive in the snow anymore (it's not me, it's the other idiots on the road I'm wary of). I try to plan trips to the market between storms, if possible. If not, it's order pizza delivery. Temp swings - easy. Just turn up the AC or heat in the car!
