Don’t get me wrong on this… but aren’t a lot of us cheering for the Iranian hackers who accessed Ka$h’s gmail account? A white hat scenario. 🤔 Meanwhile the WH gives Russian officials a tour; the Russians who are sharing targeting details with the Iranians. They’re the black hats. 🤷‍♀️

As a public defender, I watched everyday people lose privacy without notice or recourse. If privacy matters, it must protect the public—not powerful politicians who backed an attempted coup. The Senate passed this. Pressure the House to strip it. Call your rep now.

Ugh. Landlord has arborists trimming the acacia trees in the backyard, which provide shade for the building and shelter for creatures. Unfortunately, the tops are getting lopped off. Better than removing, and better than blowing over in a storm, but still 😭😢🥺 💔

Tsunami warning was a wake-up call! Need to speed up decluttering 😱 Now, when I am tempted to delay - I will remember the terror of hearing the alert & remind myself that had it been a mandatory evacuation, I would have had trouble getting out the door quickly. My go bags are a pile of stuff. 🫠😬

One of the best things about BS is the Starter Packs feature. So much easier to quickly seed the feed with just the right mix… the social media version of a native wildflowers seed pack. No need to wait for the right weather to sow your new garden 🪴

I’m straddling two worlds… setting up shop here, while keeping an eye on “there.” I’m caught between not wanting to give that man the pleasure of harvesting my posts, yet wanting to monitor the scene - especially for Covid and H5N1. Glad to see so many voices making the shift
