Have you tried it on steak/chicken/etc?

Today I learned! Thank you. Can’t say I’m surprised I didn’t know about it—I grew up in landlocked areas and this seems seafood-oriented.

Ummmm dare I ask what Old Bay is?

The thing about backing kickstarters with long time horizons is that I tend to think of the project creators as having a life debt to me…that I somehow need to remember to collect.

Seeing an it’s/its mistake on the back cover of Candela Obscura just kills me. 🙃 @darringtonpress.bsky.social What happened? 😭

Back cover of Candela Obscura that reads, in part, “…and it’s sprawling, turn-of-the-century capital known as…”

Good for you! Keep going 💪

We’re gonna make it a memorable trip!

Yeah. Big-time annoyed, especially because the position is related to *outdoor recreation*. I talked to them and they apologized for not asking permission to use a photo of me to generate the AI image.

I was door-knocking with a friend who’s running for public office and we forgot to get a selfie. They just texted me an AI-generated image of us. I’m really disappointed.

I’ve loved Campaign 4 so far, but the new Seeker’s Table should be called Indecisive Table. Spending 30 minutes debating whether or not to follow-through on a plan they spent 30 minutes developing *last episode* is…tiresome.

Why do you keep capitalizing Hole?

Firefly @fireflylmh.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

Can I buy it for you to *not* show hole?

I meant singing, but I also sign and air drum. It’s basically a free concert for people around me. 🤣

Firefly @fireflylmh.bsky.social · 30/08/2026

Some songs are *bangers* for signing along with in the car. And today’s banger is “Love Me Alive” by The Knocks and Dragonette.

I know there’s something to be said for warnings based on temps that regions *typically* experience, but we don’t get warnings in Chico until we hit ~45° (if memory serves). So a warning at 34° is unexpected!

Weather forecast for Chico, CA. Current temperate is 36° and maximum temperature for next week ranges from 36° down to 30°.

💯🤣 Usually, Sara is the one who wakes me up for food. If Tegan’s with her, I know their food is actually out. Despite being the bigger girl, she eats less than Sara (relatable)!

Nearly hitting a possum on the drive home from D&D while listening to NADDPod feels particularly scary.

Dutch Bros no longer stocks the lemon-poppy seed muffin tops and I’m gasping for air. Top 10 anime betrayals.

I’m fascinated by your home automation posts! I rent, so I’m limited in what I can do, but it’s interesting to follow along with your experiences.
