So, I'm at Disneyland with girlfriends for the next few days. I have never dressed up for Disney, but we're doing it on this trip. We are all currently dressed as Rescue Rangers. Will post group pic when I can!

I was hiking the steep hillsides by Lake Cumberland a few summers back. Halfway up I sat down on a fallen log to catch my breath. When I was read to go again, I stood up and immediately heard hissing. Being a cautious Northerner, I looked for snakes, but it turned out to be this guy

She's perfectly fine (layers!), and I'm feeling rather pleased with my reflexes 🤘 She didn't hear my initial "go put water on this" because of shock ears, but did get off and her under layer kept her safe. (Natural fibers, too!)
