Looking into things, I might pivot to a "simpler" game to learn Blender, Godot, ArmorPaint, Krita, etc. While I technically "know" how to do 80% of what I need to do (to various degrees), tools have changed SO MUCH and I'm realizing I will need to adapt first instead of learning-on-the-go.

Addendum: So finding out that a lot of the information available only focuses on keyboard shortcuts, but utterly FAILS to mention menu/toolbar options (if available) doesn't help this feeling. Some stuff is hidden in menus, or literally has a different shortcut depending if you're in a tool or not.

Right, so today I learned that while DaVinci Resolve is really good as a video editor (I'm liking it more than my old Adobe Premiere Pro), the integrated Fairlight isn't an audio recorder app. Need something external for that. I'll look more into it... tomorrow. Because now? Cribtime. :x

Friend did a single playthrough of the dragon washing game for me so I could see what it is like - not really my "usual fare" when it comes to games. I had a lot of fun... making the voices. Pegged all three just as they came in for the first time. Major kudos to the #dragnwash devs! Now to buy it.

Just finished watching A House Of Dynamite. From a scriptwriting/narrative perspective, a really well done movie, interesting concept, interesting narrative beats and storytelling... From an audience perspective, it ends up being a huge "OH COME ON!!! >:|". But it does drive the point to a degree.
