related to lrp: an extract from frankenstein’s 1818 preface

The circumstance on which my story rests was suggested in casual conversation. It was commenced partly as a source of amusement, and partly as an expedient for exercising any untried resources of mind. Other motives were mingled with these as the work proceeded. I am by no means indifferent to the manner in which whatever moral tendencies exists in the sentiments or characters it contains shall affect the reader; yet my chief concern in this respect has been limited to the avoiding the enervating effects of the novels of the present day and to the exhibition of the amiableness of domestic affection, and the excellence of universal virtue. The opinions which naturally spring from the character situation of the hero are by no means to be conceived as existing always in my own conviction; nor is any inference justly to be drawn from the following pages as prejudicing any philosophical doctrine of whatever kind.

time for my third year on artfight! i'm bringing the same two ocs as last year and revamping two more that i think are really fun :3c please treat them with care! 🌱 artfight.net/~fiowerbed #artfight #artfight2026 #teamtragedy

an artfight 2026 team tragedy card for user fiowerbed (me)
i do friendly fire, but i probably won't do revenges or mass attacks.
i WANT TO (uppercase for emphasis) attack mutuals, friends, random cool designs, oc couples, non-human ocs... but all this is written in a lighter color and my real wish is written darker: to attack more than 3 times in a month?
the featured characters are hanne, satu, agirnd, and tyyni, and i only have humanoid characters.
in the "other" field i say "i have literally no idea how much stamina i have for this year. let's find out together"

confirmation the tour is NOT the podcast on stage 🎉

Lester: People might have seen the title and thought, “Oh, they’re just going to be sat on the stage doing a podcast.” Absolutely not!

Howell: We’re going to take everything that’s fun about the podcast, but then we’re going to make it something incredible. People are like, “What is the vibe?” And someone said, “It’s like Charli xcx doing comedy.” And we’re like, “You know what, that’s actually the gig, yeah.” That’s what it is. So you’re going to come to laugh, everyone’s having a good time together, but it really feels like you’re at a concert.

Lester: I mean, we have sung before, so don’t put it past us.

Howell: Obviously, we’ll plan loads of stunts and moments and cool things, but we think we have the funniest audience in the world. We really put people through the ringer having to survive 10 years on Tumblr, but this has turned our audience into the funniest people that are all competing with each other to crack the best jokes. And so anything that we can do to interact with the audience, do improv, get people involved, play with whatever local town that we’re in, I think it makes people feel like every show is special for them and that you’re having a night with just that audience. But not in a way where we’re dragging people on stage, because we still respect the amount of social anxiety that’s there.

Lester: We’re both people that would hate to be dragged on stage, so we’re not going to do that to you, but we’re going to think of an inventive way for you to be involved.
