Looking forward to discord posting a meme in response to this instead of actually taking any responsibility for the utter and instant failure to protect user data 🙃

VICTORY!!! Last night, the Cambridge City Council voted 8-1 to pass a policy order that deprioritizes the arrest and prosecution of persons for consensual adult sex work. We are one step closer to statewide decriminalization. When we fight, we WIN.

Hot union summer isn't over just yet! The folks that make D&D, Magic: The Gathering, and more are forming a union! They are asking Wizards of the Coast and Hasbro to voluntarily recognize the union, and you can help out by adding your name to this petition!

Genuinely it’s like some folks think that cars are the only form of transit that matters, and yet refuse to read the research that suggests car travel BECOMES BETTER with viable alternatives to driving like transit and bike lanes, not to mention the benefits to mobility limited individuals!

At the Cambridge city council meeting last night, there were people calling removing parking an attack on the elderly, and like… these people’s heads would fucking explode if they ever went to the Netherlands and saw people with limited mobility getting around faster and safer on car free streets

I don’t get to head up to Canada to be with @discardina.bsky.social often, but I love every time I am able to make it here 🥰

Two while women standing next to each other. The woman on the right is has long hair and is wearing a black baseball cap, light brown jacket, white shirt, and sunglasses, she has her arm around the woman on the left. The woman on the left is wearing a black baseball cap with “Boston Democratic Socialists of America” embroidered on it, a black denim jacket with the Budew Pokémon line embroidered on it, and a black button up shirt with red / yellow patterns interspersed on it mimicking paint brush strokes.

I remember printing out directions, and when they were wrong or I made a wrong turn somewhere, having to double back and fumble about until I got to a main road somewhere and try to recover.

Believe me when I say that the best time to start transitioning was yesterday, but the second best time is today. There will never be a "perfect" time to start, and now is an especially scary moment to have come into yourself like you have. But this is so worth it, and I regret every day I waited 💖

To the people complaining these sex abuse cases have created a world where men now have to think 10 times before they touch a woman. Yes, that's the point. It's called consent. Welcome to human decency.

Genuinely there is looking to be a bunch of coastal flooding potential over the next 48 hours, power outage potential everywhere west of like Framingham, and it’s also a good way to increase pressure on the do nothing politicians that have known about flooding problems for decades and done nothing

In a white supremacist society like ours, any difference that makes a group able to be singled out makes that group a potential target. I feel this goes without saying, but it really is one struggle one fight. If we don't fight for each other and destroy these systems of oppression, we all suffer.

For its many, MANY faults, I still use BlueSky precisely because it has a non-algorithmic feed. I really appreciate being able to have “caught up” at a point. Discord, while it will never be a social media no matter what the creators want, has been scratching the itch for old school forums for me.
