You can embrace some weeds by incorporating them into your landscape design. Reducing that struggle and allowing for more biodiversity.

Life on Earth would end. Weeds like most lifeforms are just trying to find a place to live and raise their kids. And have had to repopulate as a species after meteors, ice ages, floods, droughts, attacks by other lifeforms, etc.

The panic sellers had sold everything, so the bargain hunters push the prices up until they find a new seller to buy from. The volatility will continue as people try to guess what government policy will be tomorrow.

It's only back to where it was a year ago. Could go a lot lower, if countries can't sell goods to USA, they won't have dollars to buy USA shares and bonds.

A 'mind virus' is an apt phrase. An idea that infects a brain and hijacks normal function to just replicate and spread that idea to infect others. However, the idea that is spreading like that at the moment seems to be anti woke.

Strong Towns advocates for cities to be financially resilient: maintain essential services, adapt to economic shifts, and avoid long-term financial crises. And yet, the tools we use to understand local budgets often fail to answer the deeper question: Can we sustain what we’ve built?

A firm that never backs down will just take your money and make frivolous claims that you will lose. Not all wrongdoing is unlawful, as the law is defined by politicians when they enact laws and appoint judges.

Its terrible if you go the China route of cameras everywhere. But a few portable cameras to encourage a behavior change works in other countries. And reduces the discrimation that you get from police officers choosing which drivers to ticket.

They don't own an exclusive property right like private land. But the granting of usage right over public land to a sub group of the public is giving that group an implied ownership of a property right. If the sidewalk was removed to widen a road, pedestrians would claim it is being stolen.
