There is just a bolt. You’re supposed to leave 10 mins early, to avoid overlapping and so we usually turn up 5 mins early, everyone has gone. If not, we lurk around the corner till they have. All on trust. Poo isn’t a problem. People seem to be decent, mostly.

There is no automated locking system or evident cctv. Just a fenced area. Very low rent, but it seems to work.

Ours is all managed remotely. Never seen a person there. Everything is done online. The farmhouse is next to the field, so I assume that they watch from a distance, however.

I think it’s more the stopping your own life from moving forward. I think, back in the day, it wasn’t often an actual mistake; some girls saw it as a career option. Now careers education is so much better, they realise that there are so many other opportunities to take advantage of.

Like a lot of Irish people, I no longer live there. That is not a crime or even abnormal. If people didn’t move we’d still be in that valley in Africa. Secondly I go back to my previous point. No one wants 1500 single men with nothing to do foisted on their village. Heritage is immaterial.

Exactly! Ours just has the ability to cover a great distance in a short time. Same as yours, his recall is about 90%, but if he catches sight of a rabbit/squirrel we don’t see him for dust.

Ok. I don’t know how to put it more clearly than this but to me, it does not matter where they’re from, having 1500 blokes with not much to do living close to a small village seems like a bad plan. I do not think this is a race issue.
