some old art representing my girlfriend and our best friend, still really proud of this piece

art of a large black bear, a fennec fox and a ginger and white cat cuddling all together while they sleep. they are lying on a grassy hill which has been toned blue in the evening light. the sky behind them is red and orange as the sun sets.

Quickly threw together new matching icons for me and my gf :)

a drawing of two deer-like humanoid OCs representing the artist on the right and the artist’s girlfriend on the left. the one on the right has short shaggy brown hair and big ears and little darker brown horns and is wearing a light green top. the one on the left has longer blonde hair, glasses, smaller ears, the same horns and is wearing an orange top. they are both blushing.
they are cheek to cheek and smiling at each other. next to each of them is a speech bubble with an orange heart in it. the background is light blue with white hearts all over it.

(arcane act 3 spoiler) some doodles between commissions ❤️

act 3 spoilers!!!!

powder (her adult version from episode 7) sitting with one knee up, tying laces on a pair of combat boots. her hair is tied into space buns with a pink streak in the left bun, she has short bangs. she is smiling and looking to the side.

caitlyn and vi in a tight hug, vi is wearing her gauntlets and her arms are around caits back. caits arms are wrapped around vis neck. their faces are pressed together, and vi is kissing the side of caitlyns face. Theyre both wearing a plain tshirt and pants (abba is lazy), caitlyns hair is tied into a messy bun.

"i am the dirt under your nails, cupcake." #art #arcane #caitvi tw: trypophobia

$An illustration of Cait and Vi sharing a tender moment. Vi is holding Cait's face gently while Cait has her hands on Vi's waist. They are looking at each other softly with smiles on their lips. The lighting is coming from behind them, right in the gap between their faces, giving it a soft warm glow. The background suggests the arcane fractal pattern.$

the sad truth is some people read/consumed so much fan content in the 3 year break that they would never have been happy with the canonical representation of their favourite character regardless of how this season was written or executed

000

finn 🦈 @finnicfox.bsky.social · 23/11/2024

the fact they crammed so many storylines into just 9 episodes where every episode was action packed, beautiful and told in a way that anyone could follow the story ??? some people will never be satisfied, i think both seasons are absolute masterpieces

arcane season 2 is so good when you don’t have some whiny ass twitter user yapping in your ear tbh

my niece (she’s 11) has been really getting into drawing and designing ocs she’s got this set of characters at the moment that are deer-like people designed around the planets so i drew her character ‘saturn’ for her as a little surprise

A sketch of a deer like humanoid character lit up in a golden light against a dark reddish backdrop. There’s a spotlight on her. She is wearing a floor length right fitting dress with a split down the right leg and lots of hoops and rings and bangles as jewellery. She is staring off to the side with a small smile on her face.

oo thanks dropped him a follow! i think today the most radical thing we can do is openly love people that need it i don’t think we can change people’s minds overnight or maybe not at all, both within or outside of the community but we can definitely give all of ourselves to those who need us most

rate my drawing set up y’all

A photo of a cat in the photographer’s lap, and then a drawing tablet and laptop rested further down the photographer’s legs. It’s implied the cat has taken a position of more importance than the drawing set up.

I agree. This passage from the book spoke to me a lot, idk if you’ve read butch is a noun before but this part is speaking on the tensions between various trans identities and various lesbian subcultures. I think it applies to any cross-identity relationships though!!

A passage from Butch is a Noun by Bear Bergmanz. Transcript is as follows:

What do I think? I think that all of these concerns and fears and angers and loves and all are completely valid and perfectly reasonable
and utterly understandable. And I think that if we don't quit spending so much energy on fighting amongst ourselves, we are going to look up one day soon and find the Department of Homeland Security on our collective doorstep, confiscating our papers and banning us from travel or work for being security risks by virtue of being too confusing, one and all. Then we'll realize what a privilege it was to engage in border wars, when we had the leisure time for that. Before we ended up spending every scrap of energy survival. That's what I think.

if you are queer in any way and have ever thought another queer person is your enemy or blockade towards your freedom PLEASE see that cishets have been pulling this shit on ALL of us FOR. EVER. queer people are all queer people have i’m so serious

reading butch is noun from 2006 and being reminded that we’re STILL talking about trans people in bathrooms almost 10 years later feels like somebody’s punched me in the face

More Griddlehark kissing - this time with even more size difference! #thelockedtomb

An image of Harrowhark and Gideon kissing. Harrow is in her robe, visibly smaller than Gideon. Gideon is leaning over Harrow, having one hand around her. She's showing off her biceps. It's a soft kiss with a breeze.

obvious disclaimer that i don’t actually care i just think it’s funny that people think darling is the most common posh british pet name in my humble british opinion, caitlyn is an avid ‘love/my love’ user and she uses ‘dear’ when she’s being sarcy

do y’all still like art when it’s just a sketch? i think the reason i feel j never have any time to draw is because i’ve convinced myself it has to be a fully rendered piece to be post-worthy but i probs would have time to crack out some sketchy pieces more regularly
