iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Name a band or a performer that is relatively unknown who you think is outstanding, and should be much more famous that they are. My newest find is Lloyd Spiegal. A bluesy folky guitar virtuoso from Australia. There's not a single song I've heard of his that is not fantastic.

There are many on here that describe themselves as the resistance, or resistors. What does that really mean? What are you doing to resist, other than vocalising your disagreement with the incoming government? I'm just an armchair resistor myself. What more should people be doing?

Check out this song and tell me if you like it

I'm not quite sure who I blame more. The third of Americans who voted for Trump, or the third that didn't even bother to vote.

An annoyed 🧵 about taxes. It’s been a hellishly long day, and I’ve still got a bit of work left to do - but I’m going to indulge myself by bringing out my Explaining Crayons because I really need to take my frustrations out on something.

Post that reads:

So you’re telling me that:

- Income Tax
- National Insurance Contributions
- Corporation Tax
- Capital Gains Tax
- Council Tax
- Value Added Tax
- Excise Duty
- Fuel Duty
- Stamp Duty Land Tax
- Air Passenger Duty
- Insurance Premium Tax
- Green Taxes (Includes levies on energy bills or vehicle emissions, like road tax).
- Gambling Taxes
- Plastic Bag Charges
- Carbon Emissions Levy (embedded in energy costs for businesses and indirectly passed to consumers)
- Landfill Tax (paid by waste management companies but often reflected in local authority charges)
- Television Licence Fee
- Congestion Charges
- Soft Drinks Industry Levy

Isn’t enough to fund public schools, public services, roads, etc? They also have to apply a death tax and charge your kids on money you’ve already paid tax on? 🤡🌍

I don't want to make too much of this, because there are so many important things to focus on, but I want to thank the 200,000 of you who have placed trust in this feed. I promise to use every skill at my disposal to honor that trust in the very dark days we all fear may be ahead for our country.

a coupon which says "10 likes*" and then in fine print says "* does not give you likes"

Question - How smart(or not) is Donald Trump really? The words that come out of his mouth and many of his actions suggest he's only one step up from an amoeba. However, we cannot say he hasn't had some notable achievements in his life. Please help me understand! Does he just pretend to be thick?

Snowfall begins with a single, delicate flake, but as it gathers, it blankets the world in a unified force — much like moving to a new social platform. What starts as a few brave voices can grow into an unstoppable community, transforming the landscape entirely.

Part of Laurence Fox's racist rant to Sangita Myska which he has since deleted, and which has been sent to the Police. Don't RT his shame. Or do.

One thing I do know, if things end up fizzling out on this App, I will never go back to that shit hole.

Spent most of my time on Twitter just lurking. I chimed in sometimes but usually just replying to other people's threads rather than creating my own. Vibe is different here, maybe I'll actually bother to share some thoughts.
