Why do we even have a Supreme Court? They either give Trump the ability to do whatever he wants. Or they say he can't... And he does whatever he wants.

One month to go before #SDCC and I still have some room in my commission list. Also, if anyone really liked Companion, the person that ordered this one fell through. Can offer this one for pickup at a discount. @sdccblog.com

Still some #sdcc commission spots open (actually ahead this year!). Here are the blank covers I have left. @sdccblog.com

#SDCC is officially next month 🤯. Having fun working on these commission cards. Just a heads up that I'll be adding accents to the b&w commissions (y'know... Unless you're super against it). Still some slots available. Pickup will be at SDCC. Reach out for details!

Working on 5x7s for #sdcc. Inks on a Miles G. Morales piece. Commission slots still available. Email for details

For the record... Yelling "buy American" is roughly the same as saying "buy a Unicorn". Not everything is made here or priced remotely the same.

Having Fisk localized to Daredevil hurts the larger MCU. Spider-Man is in NYC. Hawkeye. The Thunderbolts (this summer at least). DOCTOR STRANGE!!! Ms Marvel right across the Turnpike. Bestie of CAPTAIN MARVEL! Fisk would not hold power long. #DaredevilBornAgain

Can't wait for next week when Pete Hegseth includes his Door Dash driver in national security texts while waiting on his alcohol delivery.

010

Mark Alvarado @finehijinx.bsky.social · 24/03/2025

Fun fact... If I did what Pete Hegseth just did I'd be fired and likely jailed. That won't happen here. Guessing the current admin will just bring up Hillary's emails and call it a day.

Saw Snow White yesterday and it's not terrible. Well... Gadot is terrible but that's not new. The level of unwarranted hate this movie got is ridiculous.

Quick break from Trek art. This is the companion piece to my weird android girl poster. Just like the first one, I fell asleep a LOT while detailing this. #art #drawing #illustration #draw #scifi #android #robot #digitalart #artist #poster #gigposter #procreate #illustrator #fantasy

Aaand we're back to Star Trek covers. Here is the cover I did for Mirror War #4. Think this was the first one I got approved with no notes. #startrek #comics #coverart #comicart #SDCC #scifi #trek #mirror #art #artist #draw #drawing #illustration #cover #comicbooks #idw #tng

Just when I think we're the lowest we've ever been as a country, Trump and Vance prove we're nowhere near the bottom. What an absolute embarrassment we are.

Mark Alvarado @finehijinx.bsky.social · 28/02/2025

As promised, here's some non-Trek related art. Honestly don't remember what this was for specifically, but I do remember falling asleep a LOT while detailing the wires/ hair. #art #drawing #illustration #draw #scifi #android #robot #digitalart #artist #poster #gigposter #procreate

MAGA dipshits ate now whining about having to Press 1 for English. The "fuck your feelings" crowd sure is soft.

Mark Alvarado @finehijinx.bsky.social · 28/02/2025

More Star Trek. I promise I'll break it up and add other things here too. This was issue 3 of Mirror Wars. The Sad Smiley cover 😂 #startrek #scifi #comics #coverart #comicart #SDCC #comicbooks #art #drawing #illustration #draw #cover #enterprise #tng

I love that the Shrek 5 teaser made everyone an animation expert. The original looks like a PS2 game and people are mad it doesn't look the same???

Mark Alvarado @finehijinx.bsky.social · 27/02/2025

Adding to my @idwpublishing.bsky.social Star Trek cover posts. This was my second cover (buckle up there a lot more). I had never drawn Trek warships before so that was fun. #startrek #comics #coverart #comicart #SDCC #comicbooks #art #drawing #illustration #scifi #comiccon #idw

So to anyone who doesn't know me, I occasionally draw Star Trek covers for @idwpublishing.bsky.social. This was my very first cover for them. #startrek #data #comics #coverart #drawing #art #comicart #illustration #sdcc #comiccon #comicbooks

Still trying to draw on paper again. A work in progress but looking forward to taking #SDCC commissions this year. Side note: I've tried to "undo" lines by double tapping a pencil many times already. #art #pencil #drawing #draw #ink #sketch #sketchbook #random #illustration #marker #artist

Anyone else read #OneWorldUnderDoom and come away thinking Doom should rule the world?

Not #SNL50 being leagues better than the Grammys

Mark Alvarado @finehijinx.bsky.social · 13/02/2025

A could of years ago YouTube TV sent an email saying they had to charge more because they were getting Paramount networks. Today they said they're losing them. No offer to lower that bill monthly though.

Great shot of Galactus seeing the Statue of Liberty and realizing it’s okay to wear a silly hat

Why are people acting like Galactus is an "event" level villain? He's a two issue story tops for most of his appearances. Also, he's not a Celestial so his size is pretty accurate too. This is where he belongs. A one off villain for the FF.

Jesus fucking Christ Marvel.... You have a literal army of artists at your disposal and you release AI garbage to promote Fantastic Four. Embarrassing

000

Mark Alvarado @finehijinx.bsky.social · 04/02/2025

Fantastic Four's Thing design is basically a Kirby drawing come to life. 100% here for it.

Love that Drake could just have not battled Kendrick. Instead he lost the battle so bad that he suing his own label. Life comes at you fast

The Chargers being absolutely roasted by Patrick from SpongeBob has got to be peak embarrassment.

The absolute LEAST YouTube TV could do for the continued cost increase is throw in 4K. They offer less channels than before (sports and MLB Network) and still continue to increase the cost. Are we sure YouTube TV isn't some long game conspiracy by cable companies?
