There is an AI Gaming Festival happening on Steam right now. The creators claim it's to showcase that AI can be used to make good games, not just slop. I've taken a look at a few of the game pages and nearly all their disclosures mention AI created assets which are "refined" by humans.

On the surface, Cozy Tide is a simple fishing game, but it there is so much more to do! Every time I play I unlock something new and I can't stop playing! There are also a huge amount of cosmetics to unlock and I keep changing them because I can't decide what outfit and companion to use.

Just started Sayonara Wild Hearts (@geeksandgrounds.bsky.social game of the month!). Woah. So weird. So bright. I have no idea what's going on but collect the shinies and wow everyone looks so cool. Why am I shooting robot wolves? I love that it's not too punishing though, at least not yet.

I haven't played a racing game in years, but something about Forza Horizon 6 made me want the zoomies. I may never own an mx5, but I have a shiny one in the game now. There's also way more exploration than I was expecting it and I'm having a lot of fun! Even if I regularly crash.

Today I realised Mixtape is on GamePass and I played it all in one session! It's like playing a really fun coming of age movie. Such a good game about teenaged friendships. And of course it has an excellent sound track. #ScreenshotSaturday

I joined The Regreening playtest and I can't wait to see how the game progresses! The world is so beautiful, even the barren, desolate parts. It's so satisfying to see them flourish and bring colour and life back to the landscape though. I even got the bees to return!

Can't believe it's been 10 years of Stardew Valley! With nearly 300 hours enjoyed, it's the longest I've spent with a game, and one I've come back to many times over the years. It's also the first game I streamed on Twitch back in 2017! This was one of my first start screens.

Something that stood out to me in Tiny Bookshop, is that some characters will ask for a non fiction book. It doesn't matter what it's about, they just want to learn. I don't think I've ever picked up a book without having some interest in the subject first, but now I think I might give it a try!

Not indie, but I've been playing Assassin's Creed: Shadows and have spent a lot of time taking NPC portraits. Who needs the main quest line 😅 Something I enjoy with Assassin's Creed games is the little interaction. Shadows doesn't have much of that, so I'm just making own. @ubisoft.com

When I first played Station to Station, what I really wanted was to zoom in on the towns and see what the people were up to. With Town to City you can do just that! I got sucked into the demo and played more than an hour, and I didn't even finish it!

Soggy Beans is a cozy, cute side idler where fish come and go, and sometimes, they push a lever full of beans. It’s chill, but you’ll still find yourself willing them to just nudge it. Finley came through with 48 beans in one go. Time to decorate my little sea space! #ReviewTuesday

Map Map feels like a game where I could say "just one more map" and then five hours have flown by. Get thrown onto an unknown island and find a specific landmark. Then mark it on your map. You get scored based on how close you were. Surprisingly satisfying. Especially because I got one spot on!

Assemble With Care (@ustwogames.co.uk) is such a charming little experience with excellent voice acting and gorgeous art! I loved tinkering around with the objects Maria fixed, and getting an opportunity to get closer to the locals as I did. A touching story and overall good time! #ReviewTuesday

Farm Folks has been renamed to Autonomica. No longer the cozy farming sim I backed all those years ago. Now it's multiplayer "Farming, Automation, time travel and ghosts!" 🫠 I love backing games on Kickstarter, I guess this is an example of when it doesn't go as expected.
