I still think he likes himself in the end, but has a lot of deeply buried issues. Maybe he even secretly want to change - wants to feel connections, accepting being loved and having friends - but it is hard for him to trust anyone other than himself.

I'm not here to defend ai (100% not) BUT... I find it a bit hypocritical that so many people use the environment aspect as an argument and don't live vegan. The meat and diary industry are one of the biggest planet killers and fresh water wasters ever. Any other argument against ai works better imo.

Yeaah, for me it was one hell of a journey with lots of forcing and struggling, to then finally having a word for how I feel. Trying to fit into a overly sexualized world as an asexual person is really difficult af.

I have several friends who love them and it helped with their depression and anxiety attacks but gotta say, for me sadly it made it worse and I feel "trapped" and panicked while using one, so just so you know the effects can be very different for every person! Hope it will work for you! :3
