Fun Fact: Due to an oversight in Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, Ash's Pikachu with the movie cap can be obtained as a shiny Pokemon. There was no model or texture made for this specific variation, so it looks exactly the same in battle with the addition of the shiny sparkle.

Just the Pokemon anime throwing lore out the window to make its own rules again.
