Vader is our only princess in this shop. #starwars

Today is #maythefourth & it’s a day for me to reflect on the fact that the Star Wars IP has been the primary focus for my career the past 10 years. As a costume artisan working as a contractor for Disney, I’ve had the pleasure to create some amazing costumes for their theme parks for many to enjoy.

Listening to @mark-carney.bsky.social talk to the Artemis Crew was a breath of a fresh air compared to “that other person” the other night. So fun. Gave me the warm and fuzzies

My #photography of the moon back in 2011. Now in 2026, I sit with my children as we celebrate humans flying around the moon again for the first time in my family’s life. I’ve been glued to the stream since launch.

This is the closest you’ll ever come to seeing an IRL version of The Empire making an army.

I work in theatre arts in NY and among other things, I build the Stormtrooper costumes for Disney. (Photos by me). Nice to flick through social media and seeing the world interact with and enjoy my work.

North Myrtle Beach sunrise. It’s been a week since I’ve been there and was the first time in my life I learned how to relax. I want more. #photography #photograph

#photography of my boy in North Myrtle Beach. Despite being 13, he’s still my baby. To see this tiny human in this big ocean is a tale of what’s to come. Let’s hope he’s prepared and eager to ride the waves as much as he was here. 🌊🏄‍♂️

Never been more excited about a show. First episode was packed full of irony and “eating the rich.” #gumball

I restarted my scrolling collage @finaempire.art here on @bsky.app. I upload to @flashes.blue. Under media tab you can see it form. I had done this on insta but they changed the image formatting among other issues. Excited to collage again and have a place to post. #art #digitalcollage #collage

Here’s me doing literally exactly that! #standingwithstephencolbert In 2010, the IAVA invited me for a screening of the Colbert Report. I’ve watched every episode from inception to its end. Wasn’t a fan of the late night format he went to, but never stopped loving this vet supporting personality.

The weekend consisted of home made pizza, Crumbl, a monster truck rally, and a friendly llama. 😮‍💨

The V1 studio was the highlight of my tour at FS. I’ve always been an unreal fan, and to see the technology fly out from the computer into the real world to offer such power of storytelling is amazing. Absolutely love V1!

I bought a pizza oven and I’m going to just send it back. I’ve seen enough movies to know “what’s in the box” means nothing good.

After a week of brutal hell, I woke up Monday morning wondering what this week would give me. By Monday night, my son had five stitches on his finger. The universe delivers.

Doing research for a logo and came across Pua’a here. If PETA wanted me to stop eating pork, this should have been what they showed me. I’ll do anything for this pig 🥹

Went to @metmuseum.org with my bestie to see the John Singer Sargent exhibit. Was a beautiful display of his work. Love his humanity & love for his subjects, esp Madam X. It was playful, real, delicate, & sexy at times. Going back for seconds. #sargentandparis Also wore my @bsky.app shirt!

You’re worried about techno-fascist oligarchy. I’m worried about the inevitable polydactyl #cat uprising. We are not the same.

An orange polydactyl cat ominously stares toward the camera with a sense of displeasure and nefarious thoughts.

Happy #maythefourth for those who enjoy #starwars. Today is yet another reminder how fortunate I am. The SW franchise has put food on my table and a roof over my family’s head. Working on these costumes was a dream I never had but have seemed to accomplished. #Photography by me. #art #stormtroopers
