fillman86 @fillman86.bsky.social · 19/08/2026man youtube kinda sucks. I can almost never watch 4k, and very often struggle to get even 1080 60p 030

fillman86 @fillman86.bsky.social · 16/07/2026what always annoyed me about captian america's shield, is that it seems to vibrate a lot, and as a result, it makes the same kinds of sound as steel does 000

fillman86 @fillman86.bsky.social · 30/06/2026Probably the best joke of the 2020s (let them have it, it’s probably the last decade we can make a joke like this, before everyone forgets what radio was like) 000
fillman86 @fillman86.bsky.social · 27/06/2026I used to love paroozing facebook marketplace for no reason, but with all of the BS of adding AI women to the images is making me want to stop using it (you know, aside from all of the other facebook/meta issues) 010
fillman86 @fillman86.bsky.social · 16/06/2026during my 2024 break from youtube, I got this far with recreating the brm that niki lauda drove. It was lost to drive failure though. man I wish I had all that work now, because I don't think I have the patience to re-try this project 040

fillman86 @fillman86.bsky.social · 11/06/2026hey game devs, allow your game to detect linux, and turn off your anti cheat, then sequester them to their own pool of players. We'll decide if we care about cheaters, just make it clear that you won't deal with the cheaters for linux players. We're adults, we can take it. 0142
fillman86 @fillman86.bsky.social · 04/06/2026I think the reason Linus Torvalds is adamantly okay with AI usage in coding, is because he isn't in the trenches, reviewing slop code all the time. Plus he assumes that everyone will use it in a proper fashion I don't hate LLM usage, just bad usage of them. 011

fillman86 @fillman86.bsky.social · 14/04/2026I've just had an idea. Why do car games use raster graphics for liveries? Almost all could be done with vector graphics, and be the resolution they need to be, based on how far away you are. Are vector graphics just that intense en masse? 240

fillman86 @fillman86.bsky.social · 12/03/2026bluesky feels a lot less corporate than twitter did, so I can't just make a tweet like, "which company wants to give me a 2000w PSU?" and get a few leads. On the flip-side, on bluesky, I feel less of a desire to doom scroll 140

fillman86 @fillman86.bsky.social · 24/02/2026setting up @stoat.chat as an alternative for discord, I have a bunch of suggestions though. I'd like to be able to "duplicate" channels, click and drag down the permissions pole, not have every new channel start in the first category, make permissions 'just' easier, etc. other than that? its good! 020

fillman86 @fillman86.bsky.social · 11/02/2026ebay, the company known for brutally going after their critics, even hiring the pinkertons, are kinda the best search engine currently. they do this weird thing, if you put in search terms, they'll only show listings with those search terms first, and separate 'similar' listings. 140
fillman86 @fillman86.bsky.social · 10/02/2026I used the wrong power cable with my thermaltake psu, and it let out the magic smoke. I love how no cables are labeled -_- If only my corsair psu wasn’t screaming like a banshee, none of this would have happened 110
fillman86 @fillman86.bsky.social · 04/02/2026TIL that some people still think that 'lol' is 'lots of love', and they'd assumed that I was being affectionate in messages I was sending. is this just an older generation thing, or does anyone else not know either?
