Oh ffs... why do so many platforms hide the "Drafts"? Not here, of course, but I just spent like 10 minutes trying to find it on Patreon. Just put them in with the New Post options, guys!

Funny how the folks who refused the C-19 vaccine because it had a tracking chip in it (ha!) are totally cool with a Flock camera on every corner.

Rewatching #GreenLantern... this movie has a weird relationship with bullying. It seems very pro-bully. The answer to fear is to be mean to people? The GL Training, the relationship of Hector and his dad, even the turn where Hal tricks Hector are very "isn't bullying someone good and helpful?"

There's just something about leather. It's texture. It's history. It's the way it catches light. The way it breaks in and molds to its owner And that's what I love about photographing it. Whether it's faire garb, a leather jacket, armor, boots, gloves... so many fantastic options

Y'know, I hear a lot of folks coming down on #BaldursGate3 for all the romancing.... but I gotta say, if people were in a situation like that, they would very likely be forming intense feelings for each other and boning to escape the stress and fear of the situation.

People will spend months building a cosplay, then get like 4 blurry photos of it when it comes time to wear it. It just seems odd, is all.

The thing about Legend of the Seeker isn't that it was bad. It just came too late for the vibe it had. We had 5-6 years of that formula of campy #fantasy going well, but audiences were moving on to a different style of television. And LotS couldn't (or didn't have time) to pivot to a new vibe.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but just because it doesn't literally say the words "separation of church and state" in the Constitution, doesn't mean it's not in there. 1st amendment, folks. This is why literacy matters beyond just being about to sound the words out.....

It's been several years, but I still hate the fact that the Snyderverse made me.... See Superman say "No one stays good in this world". See Batman kill like... so many people. and WW 84 and The Flash's messages were basically "Don't try to make things better, it'll only get worse." Yuck. #movies

The problem with being generous is that you're often offering help to people with a need. And needs tend to fill as much space as they can. So you either end up rebuffing someone, or getting taken advantage of.

Hot take - 'You either die a hero or live long enough to become a villian' - is a *horrific* thing to put as a message in a superhero movie. There are a lot of young people trying to figure life out seeing that Batman movie, and *that* is what they walk away with? #yikes #badideas #movies

Watching a character on #ThePitt have a total breakdown and I have to applaud the performance, both as an acting teacher and as someone who's had total emotional breakdowns like that. It's incredibly hard to explain to someone what that's like, but if you've experienced it, you know when you see it.

Question for my fellow #Photographers - How long have you been one, and how many #camera bodies have you gone through? I've been a photographer for about 14 years, I'm on my 8th camera, starting with a Sony Cyber-shot, up to my Canon R6 Mark II #photographersunited

Remembering that time I got "I love this photo you took of this beautiful woman at this amazing location. Do you have one that doesn't have her in it?". Not like that's an insane thing to ask, but.... why would I, a portrait photographer, take a bonus shot of the background? Never would occur to me
