Oh my gosh #MWSecretSantaNZ this is the perfect gift now that I have got back into knitting. And the pin for @pepperraccoon.com is perfect. I was literally talking with a friend last night who said my new jacket needs a broach and here it is. So blessed

Looking down my street and there is Aoraki in all her splendour. And yes the clouds are weird. I didn’t even notice until I looked at the photo

out the weed mat, dug out sour and compacted soil, added lime and compost. Total of 4 hours to get one sad hydrangea in the ground. I know it’s not the right time of year but if they’re not in before I head off for my next mission there’s a good chance they will be dead on my return.

I should know that any project I take on will have surprises that turn it into a freakin mish. Husband cut down the yukkas and I go to prep to plant hydrangeas between the stumps. All those rocks I pulled out from btwn the two stumps and then I find weedmat 🤦‍♀️ 1/2 hour job turns into 2 hours so far
