Helpful context, thanks. Which of course is ignored.

Just so I’m clear on the argument, there’s not much Abbott can do about property taxes because that’s a county thing but also Hinojisa and Talarico both voted to raise them somehow.

I’m not sure what it says that when I see a Ken Paxton headshot at the end of a political ad I genuinely can’t tell if the ad was for or against him.

Watch us go run the table now and go into the Texas game 9-2. (I know this won’t happen but it’s a fun thought.)

That was good from 70 easy. Move to not have a kicking problem for a change.

Bourbon required this season.

lol I’m watching Arkansas v A&M and it’s literally just alternating James Talarico is a freak/Ken Paxton protects child predator ads each break

Love seeing UH in the Luv Ya Blues

My 3 year old is fascinated with cows and I’m like “look a baby cow” then it makes noise and he says “sheep cow” 😂

I was just asking a question and accusing him of lying and made a whole posterboard about it and was totally wrong but no it’s not embarrassing.

To his credit, I feel like Skeleton Crew was one of the most Star Wars-y Star Wars content we’ve gotten in years.

If there’s one guy you’d love to beat…and we had no chance.

Chris Fig @figdigital.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

I didn’t expect us to win this game. I did expect us to be competitive-ish. We are not. Not even kinda.

000

Chris Fig @figdigital.bsky.social · 27/09/2026

Not sure either of these teams is as good as their ranking.

It was just an error in rejecting paid ads for the same film across platforms owned by entirely different corporations. Happens all the time I’m sure.

I was literally about to type how I’d love to see Tennessee win this but their offense has been nonexistent…and there ya go.

Allen and Amon-Ra St Brown saved me in guillotine league. My regular league team had no hope.

Chris Fig @figdigital.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

Texans need to quit hiring OCs who can call plays and hire an OC who has been calling plays. The lack of offensive development from a team with a defense this good is beyond frustrating.

Chris Fig @figdigital.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

He just hasn’t gotten better. If there was an upward trajectory from his early starts that would be something to figure out, but he still makes the same mistakes with bad passes and trying to force throws.

Chris Fig @figdigital.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

Texans desperately need a true WR2, with Nico out there’s no one who can get separation outside maybe Schultz.

Me to my BIL after that Justin Jefferson catch: What do they feed their receivers at LSU? Him: PEDs and crawfish.

Somehow even the ads for Paxton look like they’re campaigning against him. Whoever chose that headshot should be fired.

Reading message board comments makes me so happy I don’t take sports as seriously as I used to.

Chris Fig @figdigital.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

You mean my opinions on our QB, coach, and program are not vitally important and don’t need to be heard and debated about as much as possible with other people of differing generally inconsequential opinions? Nah.

So browsing a certain message board is really entertaining right now…

Was gonna say something similar. He’s either on fire or very average, not much in between.

So much work by my colleagues went into this. (To be clear I did absolutely none of that work, but saying "so much work by my colleagues went into this" is an old trick that makes people think you must have been really helpful. Keep that one in mind for when you need it)

One of the most terrifying feelings in the world is dozing in the same room as a toddler and suddenly feeling something touch your lips. (Luckily it was just a cheddar bunny.)

I genuinely can’t comprehend how anyone, no matter their political leaning, can be like “yeah this kind of response from a White House account is totally ok”.
