Summary:
"I... I'm not sure if I feel that comfortable doing anything that would imply we're romantically involved," he murmurs. "At least if we're in public. Around Cyrene, or if it's just the two of us, it's fine. But out there.... I don't know what people will think. And everyone knows everyone-if one person knows, the whole town will eventually know."
"Okay," Mydei says gently. "We can introduce ourselves as friends then."
"Are you sure?"
"If you're not comfortable with it, then you aren't comfortable."
"I know. But, what about you?"
"I'll be okay." Mydei squeezes his hand, lips quirked up. "It's only for the week."

okay it's here! a smutty hearts unbound extra and submission for #phaidei week 2026. prompt: dacryphilia | #halefic archiveofourown.org/works/91985561

Summary:

"So I've noticed something about your books."

Mydei looks up from his laptop at his fiance, who is stretched out enticingly across the sofa. He's got a copy of Mydei's newest release in his hands, and his hair is mussed from where it's been pressed into a pillow for the better part of an hour. Mydei doesn't know why he's reading the book again and he's been trying to ignore him while he fiddles with his current manuscript.

"And what's that?" he asks, scribbling a note to himself on a sticky note. Perhaps if he puts the carriage scene before the ball, he can amp up the tension between his two main characters? It's worth a try.

"Almost always," Phainon says, pulling Mydei's attention back to him, "one of the heroes fucks the other one so hard they cry."

a smutty hearts unbound extra, but you don't have to read that to enjoy this.

Happy #PhaideiWeek ! #PhaideiWeek2026 DAY 3: Modern AU Rated: E (no smut until the university arc!) Chapter: 1/? [ongoing | originally written in JP] Tags: Slow Burn, Forgotten First Love 💙❤️High School to University #Phaidei AU💙❤️ archiveofourown.org/works/920261...

Phainon walks a path of destruction.

Things around him just break. Nobody knows why, and nobody worries about it much, because he’s used to it and fixes everything right away. Overdoes it, if anything.

The destruction spares no one, not even the new Kremnoan transfer student. Day one, he sends several buttons flying off Mydei’s uniform shirt. And then Mydei tells him that’s enough. Which it obviously isn’t, but the guy won’t budge. What a weirdo.

At the time, Phainon had no idea they’d end up close enough to build a secret hideout together.

High School to University Phaidei AU

Getting Together in three arcs: ▶️High School Days, ⏳University Days, ⏳Future Days.
