There are no words that I can use to adequately explain my horror at the failure of many western politicians to respond adequately to this aggression. The only very slight ray of light is that there is hope that one day it will end. London on fire 1940 cdn.historycollection.com/wp-content/u...

Small boy having a temper tantrum. Siting on the floor, fists clenched, eyes screwed up and probably screaming.

A straw hat draws less attention in summer.

What she is wearing and how she looks is very minor indeed. What matters is the software that the team which she led wrote and the software concepts she helped develop. Margaret Hamilton was recognised for that obamawhitehouse.archives.gov/blog/2016/11...

A fair summary of the English and Welsh. Northern Ireland got a special deal. Scotland is fed up of being pissed on by Little Englanders. Every council area voted to remain in the EU. Every one, yet we are still ignored by (some of) the English.

In Scotland it's likely to be the Scottish Green Party or Reform for the final list seat in many regions. That is why Reform and their media supporters are busy attacking the Scottish Greens. Scottish Greens will win other list seats too, but the battles for the final ones matter too. greens.scot

Every council area in this country voted to remain in the EU, but the Westmonster bunch still dragged us out of the EU against our democratically expressed wish. There is no democracy unless our English overlords agree.

Wales also voted to leave the EU, even more narrowly than England. However, they seemed to realise their mistake quickly. In my country EVERY COUNCIL AREA voted to remain in the EU. EVERY SINGLE ONE, but we were still dragged out by English votes/politicians.
In the EU Referendum 62% of those who voted voted to remain in the EU. 1,661,191 votes to remain and 1,018,233. Turnout was 67.2%.
Map shows those council areas that voted to remain in the EU in yellow. In Scotland, unlike the rest of the UK, EVERY COUNCIL AREA is coloured yellow.

Indeed. The police bods clearly have nothing useful to do. It is probably time to issue them with whatever the US equivalent of a P45 form is.
HM Revenue & Customs form P45. Issued by an employer when an employee leaves the organisation. One part goes to the former employee, one part to HM Revenue and Customs and the employer keeps another copy.

There are pre-printed ones to be filled in by hand, but wages software will also print an equivalent.

The results of the EU Referendum were that EVERY COUNCIL AREA in Scotland voted to remain in the EU, unlike anywhere else in the UK. The people of Scotland's democratically expressed wish was ignored by a bunch of chancers in Westmonster. Independence would respect that wish.

Every council area in Scotland voted to remain in the EU. EVERY SINGLE ONE. There were ways of leaving the EU without burning the boats, but the English politicians were determined to do that. My government put forward several ways of doing that, but they were snubbed by Little Englander.

If the current width of formation is too narrow at the viaduct over the Water of Leith then a cycle path could be placed on one side of the viaduct, or interlaced tram tracks provided over the short distance. Interlaced tracks, Croydon Interlaced tracks, Amsterdam www.youtube.com/watch?v=WwG6...
Interlaced tram tracks. The tracks are pushed very close together. Trams can only go in one direction at a time along that stretch of track.

For those unaware static.wixstatic.com/media/842640... is the awful mess that politicians and officials intended to inflict on central Glasgow. Fortunately some of it was stopped.
Plan of Central Glasgow with the planned Motorway Box imposed. The North and West Sides were built. the rest was not, but later a slightly more southern route was built for one side of the box.
