My ‘Big Goal’ is to write a North American fantasy that draws from American folklore AND has a magical system based on Methodist theology (broadly speaking, I only kinda sorta loosely not really want to be the progressive CS Lewis). The current thing I’m serializing does have a Sasquatch in it!

When my oldest was 5, we watched LJ. At the end he asked 'what does it mean that Luke won without violence', 'is Kylo Ren evil, or just hurting' and 'can Kylo ever fix what he did to Rey?'. Those are the right questions. I'll love this movie forever. @markhamillofficial.bsky.social

The Story Begins...

It started with a leap of faith. I was ending my time as the pastor of an LGBTQ inclusive church and starting a new job when my wife got sick, cancer. I was working in cemetery sales and burning out.
