I feel that, some personal upgrades are also delayed indefinitely.

I have lost so much productive time trying to figure out what we can do to reduce our costs wherever we can, rather than actually doing the work I need to do. Do not support these disgusting AI companies.

I told myself I wouldn't post non-fursuit stuff on social media anymore, but this has been driving me crazy. I work for a small company, and the AI bubble has caused our infrastructure costs to increase by 150% so far this year because of all the hardware shortages.

Everyone was right A total eclipse is perhaps the only thing that is SO MUCH BETTER in person than everyone actually says it is. It's almost a spiritual experience.

A dark landscape with mountains in the background, and a seemingly night ski, only the sun is above the horizon, completely blacked out by the moon in front of it in a total solar eclipse, with only a brilliant firey orange halo around it.

It's unfortunate not in my control, but I'll see how it goes for now

FibreKitty @fibrekitty.bsky.social · 03/08/2026

Oh I won't use this to socialize

020

FibreKitty @fibrekitty.bsky.social · 03/08/2026

That's a shame. Mastodon is one of the only places I really feel comfortable, I'm considering only posting there in the future

000

FibreKitty @fibrekitty.bsky.social · 03/08/2026

I have the exact opposite experience, that's already happened to me here. What instance were you on?

200

FibreKitty @fibrekitty.bsky.social · 03/08/2026

Oh I'm never talking about anything personal ever again

FibreKitty @fibrekitty.bsky.social · 03/08/2026

It's a far cry better than Twitter, but that's a pretty low bar It's still not as comfy as mastodon, and I've seen some worrying things, but...I guess we'll see

I've been terrified of engaging with social media for years, but there's still a lot about it that I miss, so this week I'm gonna try to be more active again.
