It was #artistday !? I didn't even know there was one! Happy (late) Artist Day!!! #cats #fionnaandcake #fireflies #comics #fennel #mixedmedia #digitalart #djflame #adventuretime #clipstudiopaint

A black and white drawing a various cats of various shapes, mostly of their faces and expressions. one is happily getting its chin scratched, another is frightened, there's one hissing, and several staring iwth more content, judging, and spacey expressions. The sketch with the largest scale has one eye closed, and is squinting the toehr. A cat with long fur in its ears is staring at something to its right. there are some fluffy paws drawn, one from above, and one from the side.

It's Fennel and DJ Flame from Fionna and Cake. It's based off of their look in season one, and they are smiling at each other as they embrace. Phelix (DJ Flame) has an arm around Fennel's shoulders, and is holding her hand. Their other hands meet infront of them to form a heart!

A page from a comic with three panels, two smaller ones overlapping the third final panel. In the first panel a girl walks up stairs with her bug-catching net and jar, and her inner monologue reads "Oh, farewell!" The monologue continues under the next panel, where she is showing her sister the jar full of fireflies, "I must take my leave-" and finally, the last panel she is looking up at the fireflies as she releases them, one had holding the jar and the other the lid to the jar, and is surrounded by a glowing stream of yellow-green light. The fireflies fly to the trees in the background and next to one that has landed on a leaf, the inner monologue continues "But! I'll be back tomorrow night!" and text bellow that in an elaborate font reads "End" in yellow over a leaf from a tree. This is digital, but the textures resemble watercolor or gouache paint, and the speech bubbles have a slight glow. The inner monologue is set over what looks like a cluster of lights with a pink glow.

A long-haired fiery orange tabby cat gazes over its shoulder as it sits amongst autumn foliage, almost disappearing into the orange and red leaves that surround it. It's tail pokes out from some leaves and flowers, and behind it is a thick collection of trees with light shining through their leaves. There are some plants creeping up their tree trunks, and even some red Parthenocissus quinquefolia obscuring the cat's back from view. There are greens and oranges throughout the trees and underbrush, and some sparkles around the cat, who has some pink undertones, and it's eyes have various green hues. This is mixed media - water color, gel pen, and colored pencil - on a square canvas.

A cropped shot of Kell and their Buizel; Kell is holding a large present with a big red bow and their Buizel is flying next to them using it's tails as a propeller! There are some sparkles around Buizel and the present.

Meow

A closeup of a painting on canvas, some messy gray brushstrokes make a tree and to it’s right an orange cat is staring, but only half its face is visible

It’s the tri attack Flareon! Lost steam on this back in December but figured it’s been way too long since I’ve worked on it not to post it- I might continue it some other time though! Like cutting it out and continuing on a bigger piece of paper but idk? @pointcrow.com #kaizoironmon #flareon #fanart

A colored pencil drawing in a 7x10” sketch book of the Tri attack Flareon from Pointcrow’s kaizo Ironmon vods. It’s orange like most Flareons, but has the tri attack symbol on its forehead and two additional tails- one pink and glowy, one yellow and shedding sparks, and one blue and sparkling like ice. It also has blue tufts of fur on its forelegs that look like wings, and has more yellow on the mid section of its forelegs.

Hey @refrainbow.bsky.social are these characters from a new comic of yours? 👀

The Clip studio paint app login screen with some comic panels attributed to refrainbow; a character with rosy brown hair pulled back in a pony tail holds a slice of cake covered in pink icing and says “well… I wanted to get your favorite cherry-glazed snow-powdered cake!” This character is surrounded by pink sparkles. There are a few panels to the right where the text is obscured where that character gets a hug from someone with short white hair wearing a pink jacket. The unpbscured text reads “hehe… of course hun, love you too~” and “kayy, I’ll take a bite then…” as the white haired character

I want to get a stylus so I don’t have to draw on my phone with my fingers, but maybe I should just get used to it again? Anyway here’s the gator that’s helping me figure out procreate.

A digital drawing in a cool palette of mainly pinks and greens of green alligator as it lifts its head out of a pink and green pond. It has a “crocodile smile”and a lily pad on its head.
