For those curious, they are based on the Man O' War fish, Nomeus gronovii, seen in this video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=9rCH...

@sharpysketch.bsky.social inspired me to draw his handsome lion OC, Bert, introducing Deuce to his favorite pastime floating under the sea (and despite his nervousness, the big guy's in perfectly safe, capable hands). 🦁💦

Giftart/crossover art for sharpysketch of his furry lion OC, Bert, enthusiastically grabbing my furry lion OC, Deuce, by both hands as they float underwater together, their manes and tails waving messily about. Bert has a big, excited open mouthed smile wearing red swim shorts while a nervous Deuce is mightily holding his breath, cheeks puffed out like a hamster with food stuffed in its face, wearing red low cut swim briefs.

Been diving into Toon Boom Harmony again, and gearing up to start a few small gigs with it, so I warmed up by doing another pass on this swimmy Bert!

Thievul, Sobble, and Yungoose as the members of Studio Killers, Goldie Foxx, Cherry, and Dyna Mink! Might get this made into a sticker, would anyone want one?
