They need to be very special to get a yes vote from me. 1) a terrible way to run a government, 2) they are almost always carefully crafted to screw the public but advance on tiny groups interest, and 3) they are usually poorly written. An ok idea in principle, but terrible at the current volume.

Since my Bosch refrigerator is now reporting false faults because of a security update (!), I don’t doubt this. There are a number of features (e.g. the maintenance cycle) available only thru the app.

As someone in the industry for a long time, there are too many computers around. Our fridge is now reporting faults every 12 hours. They’re not really there, but a “security update” (for a refrigerator!) recently borked it. Yikes.

This seems to be common with the prime or Netflix broadcasts. No knowledge of team(s) or, sometimes, the game at all. Seen it often with baseball. That’s outside (in SF), so they spend the entire game admiring the scenery. Generally, the networks are pretty good, then ESPN, then others. 3rd string
