Ross Douthat advocates for the weird Christian Creationist belief that animals are machines in the same way cars are machines, and he expects us to treat this as evidence that his religion is literally true. www.stopchristiannationalism.com/douthat/a-re...

Animals Are Not Machines, Ross Douthat — Stop Christian Nationalism
Ross Douthat says that it’s common sense to look at animals as if they are machines that are produced in a workshop by a supernatural spirit. No one has ever seen such a thing taking place.

EFT Tapping is magical pseudoscience. Reality is reality. It isn't created by "your energy". Forget the quantum energy BS. It's total bunk. Emotion Freedom Techniques are not trustworthy. Tapping is faith healing, not science-informed therapy.

Emotional Freedom Techniques - also known as EFT tapping - is a gimmick used by scammers to take advantage of gullible people. Tapping your face doesn't bring you money or love or mental health. Be good to yourself. Walk away from EFT tapping scams.

Don't become a victim of EFT tapping scams. Tapping your face and mumbling affirmations won't make you rich, won't make you mentally healthy, won't get rid of that bad boyfriend. Emotional Freedom Therapy is New Age mumbo jumbo. Don't fall for it. Get genuine professional help.

EFT Tapping is a MANIFESTATION of mental illness, not a treatment for it. Obsessively tapping your face and muttering is not a reliable pathway to mental health. Buyer beware: Emotional Freedom "Therapy" is a New Age gimmick, not a science-based practice.

EFT tapping is a New Age religious practice, derived from the rituals and beliefs a 20th century Japanese religious sect. It is in no sense scientifically based. Emotional Freedom Therapy certainly won't bring loads of money magically into your life, as many practitioners suggest. It's snake oil.

EFT tapping is religion. It asks therapists to tell their clients that they have invisible magic energies that do not exist. "Emotional Freedom Therapy" is hocus pocus, not scientifically-valid therapy. Leave EFT to the New Age festivals. Leave EFT out of therapy.

Most people were not a handful of religious leaders in a small corner of the Roman empire. In fact, Jesus often ranted against other people, telling THEM to shut up. Jesus was a megalomaniacal jerk.

Unpopular opinion, but I hate car lanes, and I hate sharing a road with cars and trucks. They are a menace on the road. Do that shit in NASCAR or a Monster Truck rally, not on our roads. Cars kill bicyclists and pedestrians. Don't blame people walking and riding a bike.

"Demonic religion." That's interesting. Christianity kind of does involve the worship of demons, who are just angels that God created to do nasty stuff - see Book of Revelation chapter 9, for instance. Isn't it great that Christianity is just a fictional mythology? We can leave it behind.

Well, Jesus did say that he came to sow division, not peace. He did insist that his cult members declare their hate for their own children in order to have more love to give to him. Let's not pretend that Jesus was a lovely person all the time. Sometimes, he was a nasty narcissist.

Jesus explicitly endorses genocide and murder in the Book of Revelation, several times. In the Gospels, Jesus threatens communities with genocide as punishment for failing to worship him. Jesus was a creepy cult leader.

Actually, it's in the written record that pre-protochristian missionaries were absolutely obsessed with judging and hating people, especially about sex. Part of the "testimony of Jesus" in Revelation is endorsement of Christian hate for some communities because they had liberated women's sexuality

“Before judgment comes”? Christians like Graham are already judging LGBTQ people, nonbelievers, women, and anyone outside their worldview. America doesn’t need to “turn back to God.” We need to protect each other from the fear, cruelty, and division pushed by Graham and his ilk.
